Love the keyboard but hate the battery! – I love this phone, but hate it at the same time... The phone is very solid, small, looks nice, has a bright display, is not expensive, runs on android, has gps, and best of all: has a slide-out keyboard. But, it also has a number of negatives. At first: battery life is horrible!!! In idle mode the phone will survive ~10 hours, but if you dare to use it to browse, listen to music, or watch a video clip the battery drains in less than 2 hours. Using GPS will allow you to use the phone for just over an hour. So you really need to be able to charge your phone whenever possible. So buy enough chargers, also for the car (there's nothing more annoying than having a phone with gps, but with a flat battery when you're lost).

Next to the horrible battery life, there are some more negative points: - the phone gets annoying hot when using it for a while

- it can be pretty slow (going to the phone book can take 2-20 seconds) -> super annoying

- it only has android 2.1 so misses some nice features such as wifi tethering, also some apps such as westpac app require android 2.2

- it is not very stable, crashes at least once per day

I still prefer this phone over most other smart phones because of the slide-out keyboard. But if that's not a requirement for you, don't buy this phone... Great keyboard (although not too comfortable when typing long e-mails), good voice quality, nice screen, very solid, good camera. Battery life, stability (crashes at least once a day), android 2.1 (so no westpac online banking, wifi tethering), slow, gets annoying hot.

Its' compact, has good screen, good music player! Also, not so good -BATTERY life (should be batt, half life)

BUT for the battery- would rate as good :-(

Mini in size but not in features – The size of a credit card, but this phone has it all - all new features with a bright and colourful screen, good camera and best of all it is easy to use. however, I feel that the best feature is the slide out QWERTY Keyboard so there is no need to fidget with the screen when typing a message. -Sony Ericsson is not updating the software beyong Android 2.1

Excellent – X10 Mini Pro is a good choice for people looking for a small, truly pocket-sized touchscreen Android smart phone that is a good all-rounder. Capable music player, above-average camera quality and high-speed data all in such a small device. Well priced compared to full-sized Android smartphones. Software lets you navigate around menus and applications with ease, especially considering the screen size.

Keyboard helps tremendously with text imput. Built-in media player does not come with an equaliser, although thanks to Android you can download a free/paid app from the Andriod Market that does have this capability.

Andriod version upgrades were delayed by months longer than other manufacturers, still isn't upgradable to the latest version of Andriod released.

No built-in option to connect to a PC in order to use the phones data connection to access the internet.

Good – Overall, I love this phone. Was not happy with my last touch screen phone and thought I would never get another, but the touch screens have imnproved dramatically and am happier with the capability, but will still always like to have a manual keyboard. It has taken some getting used to, as with any upgraded phone, but am enjoying this one. responsive touch screen, qwerty keyboard, clear sound, nice and compact. can't change colour scheme, menu's a little confusing (but getting used to with use). sms menu layout view different, but getting used to it.
