insistence on the latest Fronius Symo Gen 24 inverter as a market leader which did not enter the Australian market until late June but as soon as it was available the install was scheduled and executed. The install team, led by Nathan, were exemplary, polite, efficient and leaving a clean site. As install included replacement of an existing 9 year old system I had anticipated some issues but none were encountered. Spare tiles for any damage were available but not required, they were more difficult to obtain than the solar! So highly recommended up to and including install, initial performance is as expected for this time of year with higher yields expected as spring and summer approach. Thank you Space Solar.

worked out what had happened told us it our fault because we signed a contract and would be an extra $5000 plus install. So now we are $17k out of pocket with a system that hardly works

Should have seen the red flags when commissioning the install Victor couldn’t work out how to turn the inverter on.

We went with Space Solar after opting out of a another company (deposit lost) after reading so much bad reports of them, with Space Solar we paid a little more than the entry level cost but received a standard far higher than the discount installers.

Space Solar have their own installer staff with over 5 years experience with Space Solar (in our instance), and the whole transaction felt reassuring.

different story - they are now telling me the electrician who did the work has left the company and they are chasing him up to complete the paperwork. I estimate we have lost somewhere in the order of $500 of solar credits we would otherwise have been entitled to.

Technically speaking, our system seems to be working fine but we really don't know and the poor service we've received and the use of non-qualified electricians as identified by Solar Victoria concerns me.

Highly recommend you do not do business with Space Solar.

another 5.5Kw and a second inverter. These had to be located so shadow from a NBN satellite dish wouldn't cast shadows on them. The installation was done efficiently by 3 of their staff in one day. They set up the wifi smart meter before leaving. We could have got cheaper from a couple of the other suppliers but they wouldn't say who their installation contractors were and would not send the sales person here to check out the site. Not good enough we felt. We were concerned that the system kept on cutting out as production went upwards so Space Solar sent their technician to check it out. On switching off the system he found that our supply from the transformer (we're rural so have a transformer on a pole near the house) was way too high and thus preventing our solar system from feeding in all of its production to the grid. This problem was solved when we contacted Essential Energy who sent their technicians to adjust the transformer and now our solar system works like magic feeding in heaps of electricity to the grid and more than covering the entire costs of electricity used and line rental. So we are extremely satisfied with it and with Space Solar. Thank you to the Space Solar people from the telephonists to the salesperson, the installation men and the technician. They were all excellent people to deal with.

that would fit in our roof but has still made a big impact on our electricity bill. We have a pool, several aircon units and floor heating so our bill is usually massive. I would highly recommend this company.

Poor customer service – Seems only one person works for them. Terrible customer service, not sure how the company survives. Having to wait forever for new panels, then give the old first in first served speech. Not the truth.

Good system bad C.S – Great install and works great however after sales service was disgusting. Didn't explain the metering process, lead to anxiety. Miss spelt email address locked me out of the app to monitor it. Company treated me as a pest for trying to sort it out.

Great company – Space solar are a very excellent team from the office to the installation. Quick & clean & polite at all times. Could not be any happier with them. Will be letting my friends no about them also.

Value for money – I had 20 solar panels installed on the 8 Aug 2019. The consultant was good, gave me a good price and the installation was done in time. Everything went on smoothly until all payment was done. After that, there was poor response in getting the documents required to connect to the grid. The installers (Sean and two colleagues) were legendary, expert, fast, flexible, efficient... couldn't ask for more and to be honest didn't expect that level of service, Sean gave me the option to install the inverter either outdoor close to meter box or inside the garage, I went with indoor. Staff in office are also very friendly...
