Avoid – Absolutely terrible. Won't pick up their bins within two weeks, in breach of THEIR OWN "contract". Customer service is non-existent, with the guy on the phone being completely uninterested in showing any kind of professionalism or goodwill once you've paid. it will be. I can see from the replies to the other negative reviews that there's a total lack of accountability and a lot of vindictiveness, which is unsurprising. I'll be interested to see how this review is replied to. However, I do want to thank Bradley, who I spoke to after numerous conversations with the other guy (who apparently has no control over the drivers and has terrible memory) for finally getting it sorted. Brad, I think it'd be better for the company if you were the person that customers dealt with in future. We would've used these people again but after such a bad experience, we went with someone else who was slightly more expensive but very helpful, and importantly, honest. One other thing that I wouldn't have mentioned if we were happy with the actual service - the driver was nice enough, but dropping off a bin shouldn't be used as an opportunity to spread religious messages. It's presumptuous and inappropriate.

Disgraceful – We were quoted $500 for a 6m skip and on delivery the price went up to $695!! This price jump was due to us having “building materials” which was in fact a broken down wardrobe. Skip Bin Hire – Just used Spartan Bins for the first time and ordered a 4.5 m3 bin. This was advertised at $265 but soon went to $550 when they realised part of the load was hollow plasterboard panels. was a tapered rectangular shape so the bottom was much smaller than the top sitting on two forklift skids, so when I measured it up I calculated 2.8 m3 as the volume. I spoke to the people at Spartan assuming a mistake had been made but they were adamant I had a 4.5 m3 bin. I am good with maths and I figure if you measure the outside dimensions of the top of the bin and measure to the ground you may get 4.5 m3 but there is NO WAY you can fit more than 3 m3 in this bin. Pretty poor and deceptive behaviour I think. Will never use Spartan again!

Awesome service – If you need a reliable, low cost option for a skip bin these guys are the answer. George was very friendly, on time and great to deal with. Highly recommend. Show reply
