The ute started to loose power/drive. The RACQ Tec believes it's the Auto. It did sometime when taking off from the lights have no drive and then clung into gear but other then that no warning signs.

Is this likely to be a simple fix ie back flash new oils or a new torque converter (No signs of an oil leak btw)

Or is there a gearbox that will work with this model without flashing the std computer?

Anyone do a service exchange unit?

Hey I have the same ssangyong as picture above everything works perfectly but I just put it in 4wd low to snatch someone out of a bog and now it won't turn back to anything, it's stays on 4wd low and when I change it to high 4wd high just flashes and when I turn it to 2wd the 4wd high just keeps flashing while the car is still in 4wdlow anyonemnow what's happen?

Is there a reverse light fuse in my 2013 ssangYong

It's an automatic and when selecting forward or reverse will clunk into the gear. Whilst traveling, there is a noticeable vibration.

I have an Actyon sports ute 2017 model (just like the display pic up top for the page). What are the headlight connectors / plugs it uses? It says they're a H4 but no harness with generic plugs (inluding H4) to able me to install my lightbar fit? Are there any adaptors that can be used? Otherwise I'll have to get an auto elect to splice it into it.

Vehicle suspension shakes like ***##**!! when empty and on minor uneven road surfaces. Sometimes it shakes that much my feet fall off the pedals when cornering very bumpy roads...its major I can tell you. What needs doing to the suspension to take a bit of the pain away here? We do tow a 1500kg boat with this no problem still shakes a bit so even with some weight on the towbar, the shakes are still there - 2018 Actyon Sports 4x4 2.2L Diesel

I have one of the very early 2012 s.a.s with manual gearbox bought brand new done 158,000 km without a problem suddenly threw out of 6th gear finished the trip in 5th at 2,500 rpm all other gears are fine. Can not even hold it in 6th I tried a few of times over 280 km to home!

My sangyong is having starting issues any ideas its been a intermitted problem

Is the 2012 actyon sports the same as a 2014 actyon sports

changed all 4 injectors (water in fuel) now runs well but there is a clicking sound mainly when under load accelerating. Another problem is sometimes can not accelerate - loose power, then after a shortstop and restart all runs well

My ssangyong actyon sports of year 2013 vibrates as well. but not like this one. when the engine needle shows 1.5 it starts vibrating and stops again when it reaches 2.0 and above. it vibrates even if I don't drive or put the gear. I just need to accelerate and it vibrates on 1.5. Sorry my english is not that good when explaining mechanic. it's a manual. Any help?

I have a 2012 Ssangyong Actyon Sports Ute that has bee running fine until yesterday, when now it only starts when it feels like it.

When the engine does start it has a metallic noise coming from the alternator area which disappears after a few minutes as the engine warms. I have checked for fault codes and it displays about 5 but I am having trouble finding a list on the net to see what the faults are.

Hoping that someone may point me in the right direction to find them.

Perhaps someone else has had the same issues.

Hi I have a 2014 ssangyong ute 4x4 sports diesel manual transmission.when driving sounds like you are driving on the rumble strips on the road side,slow down to 20 imp and it goes away,or put in into 4high and it does not make a noise. Any ideas on what's wrong oh it's a 6 speed manual.

Hi... I have a 2015 Actyon sport 4x4 diesel Auto, have an engine check light on my dash and the truck is in limp mode, transmission isn't slipping and is changing gears ok, but its holding the revs a long time before changing gear also has no power what so ever, feels like the turbo isn't boosting or the wastegate is jammed open to stop it boosting the engine..anyone have any ideas whats wrong?

Will changing the auto transmission fluid in 2013 actyon sports help rid vibration

Ute has doe 160,000 k with not one drama...vibration seems to be at 50k/hr and again at roughly 90k/hr

Hi ..the TCCU of my Ssangyong Actyon Sports 2012 got damaged. I found an exact part number online but it is for 2012-2014 Ssangyong Rexton W. Will this work on my Actyon since the socket configuration and part number is the same? Thanks

l have a 2014 Actyon sports 4x4 diesel auto ute , brought new . It has this surge sensation when just driving along , doesn't affect its performance and if you it accelerate it's fine , it seems to be worst in summer , l do worry that it could get worst and become dangerous , has anyone else had this experience or would know what the problem is , Also just today the anti skid light came on just when driving at 60 klm , could this be related?

Hi, I Have just purchased a 2013 Actyon sports SX Diesel Auto, it's done 100,000 ks, 0 to 100 very responsive then very slow to accelerate to a higher speed! and my fuel consumption is very poor getting 9.8 litres to 100 k's. I do freeway runs Monday to Friday.

Can anyone tell me if is is correct? Or I think there is something wrong? Any ideas?
