Starts well, Customer Service/Aftersales atrocious – Purchased this item via Online with Mitre 10 in October 2023. Well, thank the lord I had an existing straight shaft attachment I could attach to this unit, as the curved shaft bump head feed CANNOT be attached to the neck. Even after returning to Mitre 10, they said that the bolt is simply too large to attach to the bump feed head. After contacting Customer Service at Stanley..... CRICKETS..... Nothing.... No response...... After using for about 6 months, it just died and the shaft stopped spinning, whilst still under warranty. Thankfully was able to take it back and get a full refund....
