Steve's Removals Geelong

I booked Steve's Removalists to move my house load of things. Communication was poor - I had to contact them several times to confirmed they were booked in and a price. Then on the day they didn't show up. I called their number, sent emails, text messages and via their website to find out if they were coming but no reply. Still no reply to this day. We had to book someone else to move us the next day. Lucky we could get someone at such short notice.

Awful experience – [Name Removed] was abusive towards us and his staff. He used profanities towards us after we questioned the cost of a job. We questioned it because one mover did the job, when we paid for two- so the job went over by hours. Strongly do not recommend if you’re after an ethical operator.

Not happy – Steve’s removals moved a lot of our household contents into a storage facility 15 months ago and I just got it all out. The mattresses weren’t wrapped in plastic, they were sitting on the floor of the storage unit and very dirty, scuffed and torn. The leather lounge was on its end, resting on one armrest, again directly on the concrete floor. So much of the furniture has scratches, chips, dints or parts are missing. I had offered them old blankets and sheets to protect the furniture. I certainly wouldn’t recommend them.
