Poor quality tool – Quite possibly the worst strimmer I've ever owned. From new the clutch tattles, difficult to start and the head is awful. The worst £329 I've ever spent. I expect more from Stihl.
Fs70R great light weight powerful line strimmer – Great line strimmer with plenty of power and light weight. Ideal for domestic use with line trimmer head. Can use a blade at a push for brush cutting if required. Pro Light weight Powerfull engine which is easy to start Good ergonomics with harness/ shoulder strap attachment Good price Cons Lower end commercial with non solid drive shaft which is ideal for line strimmer head.
Stihl line trimmer head is very average (changed head to a speed feed which is a lot better)

Biggest piece of rubbish I have ever purchased – Purchased this about 3.5 months ago. Followed manufacturer guidelines on correct fuel/oil mixture ratios. Used machine less than a handful of times and it stopped working. Apparently, the service centre said that due to lack of lubrication, machine will not be warranted....I followed your intructions you muppets.....I know of someone who has had the identical issue. They are not interested at all. STAY AWAY from this brand
