Fantastic until motor failed – Loved this on my 4 acre property, but 3 yrs in and the motor died. One year out of warranty and the cost of repair isn't worth it, so now I have to buy another one! Really annoyed and not happy

Motor failed after 30 minutes use – Motor failed before even 1 battery charge was exhausted. Stihl dealer was great but wait time for parts is 1 month. My previous Stihl 2 stroke line trimmer lasted for 40 years trimming a suburban house with the same usage as this new AP battery powered unit. Certainly taught me a lesson about the reliability of electric motors . My Stihl mower and 2 professional chainsaws, all battery powered have worked flawlessly to date.
