Good – This saw replaced the superb 260 I had for 20 years. It is more powerful and has excellent low vibration and always brings a smile to my face when I pick it up to use. replace side plates that have completely worn away with use. Stihl saws are just the best on the market, run forever and well worth the money. I use a Stihl 460 and 660 (both absolutely magnificent saws) for heavier work and rely on the 361 when trees are not too thick. It is a beautifully weighted saw and can be used for hours without feeling any strain. I tend to reverse the bar on every third sharpen, making sure any burrs are filed off and replace the spocket with every second chain. It perhaps requires a little more care than the previously mentioned saws but time spent is repaid with ease of use when next used. If you miss the initial start-up on full throttle and don't click the control to high revs, it floods and can't be started without clearing the cylinder of excess fuel. Also it is more susceptible to stale fuel. Any mixture more than a few months old has to be drained and fresh fuel used, whereas the other two Stihl saws I regularly use run smoothly even if the drained fuel is placed in them.
