Does the job well – Works great & I do rinse dishes before putting them in dishwasher, hose clogged up once but that is expected. Had it since May 2016 with no issues & recommend it to anyone, you get what, you paid for Show details

Rubbish dishwasher – Bought the updated fully integrated dishwasher just over 2 years ago. I have have been very disappointed with it since day one. The dishwasher doesn't wash well leaving some plates and cutlery dirty. Even when the dishes and cutlery are pre rinsed the cutlery they still is not cleaned. Show details

Like others here it breaks down :-( – Thinking I could save money I tried this machine. It broke down (control arm broke) within 12 months. Once something breaks you are in the nightmare of (a) confirming purchase (ummm is there anywhere other than Aldi you can purchase this machine? I think not!) (b) waiting for parts (c) waiting for service person (d) it breaking down again. I… Read more

will die before the dishes are actually washed consistently in this machine. Saved $600 over a brand machine? I think not. In retrospect I should have bought a Bosch. My time and months of wasted running around wasn't worth the $600. Should have realised you can take a risk with a cheap mop if breaks down but for any item over $100 at Aldi - be very very wary.

Not a good option – The old adage "I'm not so rich I can afford to buy cheap" really applies here! Unfortunately, handwashing is better than this. The bottom rack keeps coming off track and is more like an exercise machine than something to make life easier. And it doesn't really clean (unless you wash everything first) - which kind of defeats the purpose of having a… Read more

dishwasher in the first place... Also, drying doesn't seem to be a good option either. All in all, a VERY basic machine and not recommendable.

Stay away from it – It does not clean the dishes very well. It leaves plenty behind. Especially on the dishes with large size, it is not very effective. I would not recommend this and rather spend your money on a decent brand from good guy or Harvey norman. I would not buy this again.  Show details

Excellent value – Always clean, but not always dry. Rinse aid is always a must. Quiet enough to run at night without disturbing anyone. The racks can get a little stuck sometimes. Easy installation, had no problems doing a DIY to replace an old unit. Stainless steel finish matches other appliances. Great value for the price.  Show details

You get what you pay for – Purchased this dishwasher in June 2015, not very great at all. You literally have to wash all the food off the dishes and dry by hand no matter what kind of dish tablets and rinse aid you put in. Dishes always come out with every bit of food mark even as little as a milk spot or sauce on the dishes. You also need to put the cutlery in individually… Read more

in the tray above that you're standing there loading it for half the time. Very time consuming with the cutlery stacking and rinsing completely all the dishes. Better to just hand wash.

Great value for money – Works well and plenty of room for a family of 5 dishes. I recommend the longer wash functions as I find the Eco wash isn't as effective. Program options are easy to use. It is recommended that you use the logix products and I haven't used any other brands but they work great. it's also simple to install yourself.  Show details

cheapie but value for money! – integrated under bench top but large handle on door sticks out and can be annoying. lower basket comes off track frequently is a small annoyance. Not too noisy. Cutlery tray a good feature. Baskets generally work well with plates and dishes, wine glass rack not quite enough space for average size wine glasses they snag on basket above. Program limited but overall good value for money  Show details

Service – The service for repairs for this is very poor. I have been waiting a month for someone to come out and fix my machine. They keep saying that they are waiting for parts. Very disappointing I keep calling and they keep saying they are waiting for parts. I was under impression that they replaced machine if it breaks  Show details

Great for the price – I am really happy with this dishwasher , It cleans well, with the drying you just have to open the door when final cycle has finished , as instructed to let out moisture . I used the earth choice dish washer tablets and washed very well, I am happy with it performance so far. Mine was installed by a plumber too so hoses are in correct position.  Show details

Easy To Install – Economical buying. There are flaws however Cutlery drawer robs you of height to load taller glasses, plates & other bulky items so I took it out and replaced with cutlery basket from old Bosch Classic. Drying function quite good when using longest or second longest wash cycle. Well made, relatively quiet, fitted and installed myself easily. … Read more

Update as at 19.12.2016

I found that fat had built up in outlet hose causing a Water Error Warning

To rectify I had to manually clear fat from hose, also ensuring hose was not kinked, ran the Finish Dishwasher Cleaner and have not had any problems since.

We mostly use longest or second longest cycle drawing 55c temp water at start up...also to ensure I don't get fat build up in outlet hose.

Lasted less than a year. Tempo unwilling to help. Accused me of theft – Lasted all of 6 months before pump stopped working. Rang tempo, as per instruction book. They told me they needed the receipt or wouldn't help me. I mentioned I had the instruction book that stated several times that there was a 3 year warranty. The warranty book said it was last modified in Feb 2015 and was for 08/2015 campaign. Proves less… Read more

than a year old.

Tempo still said no. How did they know I had bought it at Aldi? Because your website says "exclusive to Aldi"!

If i had bought elsewhere you have broken your agreement with Aldi.

Was then suggested I had maybe stolen it, hence why i don't have a receipt. Would it be possible to get it out of the store, down the checkout with out paying. I have rung Aldi directly to intervene.

Who knows if they'll follow through.

As a result I would never buy anther Stirling brand appliance from Aldi. I warn others about this experience.

Next stop fair trading.

Tried to live with it but gave up in the end – We bought a fully integrated Stirling dishwasher from Aldi in early September. We had two LG dishwashers only last 12months past the warranty period so we were looking for a new dish washer to replaced our recently defunct LG. The Stirling dishwasher was installed and at first we were very impressed with its quietness and how good it washed the… Read more

dishes but the cutlery drawer that was a feature we particularly wanted was always wet after any of the cycles we tried. After many attempts to try different cycles and opening door as soon as it had finished or leaving it shut for hours, we realised it was never going to dry as the cutlery drawer was always wet and dripping water onto baskets below. We tried different rinse aid and for awhile we were finding the best way to get better results was to leave door shut all day and then remove all the other dishes first before moving cutlery drawer out to remove cutlery. This still wasn't perfect as there was still a fair bit of water sitting around the plastic parts when you pulled out the tray and some of the cutlery was still having to be hand dried.

The other annoying thing was the bottom tray didn't always track correctly when pulled out onto the open door and it would fall down from top of door and then it was difficult to relocate back into position. This was not a major issue but the water sitting in the cutlery tray was.

After contacting Aldi I decided to return the dishwasher during the 60 day money back policy and had no trouble at all even though I had thrown out the packaging. Top marks to Aldi in regards to their 60 day return policy.

I believe it is a design fault having a plastic cutlery tray that can stay if the machine doesn't get hot enough during the cycles to dry off after or have a proper drying cycle.

We have now purchased an Ariston LFF 8M132 without the cutlery drawer and so far are very impressed with its almost silent operation and the overall internal design. It seems to be a lot more sturdy in the way the drawers slide etc but we paid over twice the price for it and with our history of dishwasher problems we paid extra for the extended replacement warranty. We cannot recommend the Stirling dishwasher with the separate cutlery draw and our experience with two LG dishwashers proves tha LG dishwashers are to be totally avoided!
