Strepsils Herbal Chesty Cough+ Lozenges

They work where all else failed. I have the flu. I've been surviving on 2-3 hours sleep each night for the past 7 days. I find it near impossible to sleep due to a non-stop cough. I bought some over-the-counter cough (liquid) medicine with an impressive-sounding brand name because, well, cough medicine in liquid form is the traditional way to take cough medicine and lozenges are little more than lollies really but as an afterthought I bought some anyway. How wrong was I. The liquid medicine seemed to do nothing and as I was lying there wracked with coughing I thought why not try "the strepsils" and, I'm not exaggerating, I seemed to have noticed an instant effect. The regularity of the coughing spasms diminished to the point where sleep could intervene. I was a very happy chappie I can tell you. Anyway...see how I go tonight. The problem is I want to keep gobbling the things as they seem to work but the manufacturer's recommendation is only three per day.
