Ok for large volumes of juice. But mine is broken now – I've had my juicer for approximately 3 years now and the motor has just stopped working. I've now bought a new Breville juicer and am very happy with it. The Sunbeam juicer is very large in size, takes up a fair bit of space on the counter and is extremely heavy. I would say that the stainless mesh sieve weighs at least a kilo and is twice the… Read more

size of other juicers. For one person making 400-500mls of juice at a time (like myself) it's not worth the purchase. But if you have a family and would like to make fresh juice for the 3, 4 or more of you at the one time, this juicer will create litres of juice without needing to be cleaned. It's super heavy duty! One bad thing though is that on high speed the juice needs to be strained otherwise it's very pulpy which adds a lot of extra time especially if you're busy. On low speed it doesn't need to be strained but it has a hard time dealing with harder veggies such as carrots and beets.

Simply... Great! – Use this quite regularly and a lot for detoxing and weight loss, great tasting juices, surprisingly easy to clean. Found that we don't even need to use the pulp catcher, just attach a plastic bag, though can start acting up when inner part is clogged with pulp. Quite heavy and cumbersome (can take up a lot of bench space), but easy to set up. … Read more

Though, be warned: Sometimes, a burnt rubber smell can sometimes be detected, most likely due to overuse. Easy to clean, great tasting juices Heavy, takes up quite a bit of space with pulp catcher attached, beware burnt rubber smell due to overuse

The Sunbeam Cafe Series Juice Extractor - Model # JE8600 the ultimate juicer for my needs regardless – My name is John Bayne and Rachel Panchia is my daughter, and since I was the purchaser I am the one who can speak meaningfully about my choice of juicer for my daugher and the kind of service I recieved. The most valuable thing a juicer can offer is the solvency power equivalent to genuine pure distilled water, the only way to get rid of inorganic… Read more ·  5

build up (aging process) in the body, especially arthritis on the joints. So long as you drink it within a couple of minutes it matters not how much you oxidize the juice by the centrifugal method where this method more than makes up for this by making it dead easy to juice as much as 20kg (yielding about 9 litres of juice from 20kg of horse carrots currently selling at only U$7.50 a 20kg bag in Campbell Town, NSW). One loses the solvency power to get this most needed benefit the moment the juice touches any material that is not inert like food grade stainless. So only this model that has all stainless steel is any good for this. You look at the spout to be the stainless version in the 750Watt version. Later 1000watt versions has sadly replaced the stainless steel collection tray and spout with a plastic one.

Thank you Sunbeam for the earlier model and please bring back this model, and thank you so much Grey's online for making it possible for me to get this for my daughter where you dellivery time exceeded even expectations, What can I say except give you the highest possible rating here and say keep it up. Yours sincerely, John Bayne, feel free to use my review and recommendation how you like. The only all stainless (where the juice touches that is) juicer under about AU$5000, and much faster than the expensive juicers which squeeze the juice out. Often this slow process puts people off and they do not do it half so often as they should, This centrifugal system is super fast and no worse if you drink it immediately. At $199.95 compared to thousands of dollars what can i say more? I am very very happy, like I am with your service.

A Great Juicer – Very happy with the Sunbeam Cafe Series JE8600 Juicer. We did our research before buying and I think we chose the best juicer for a domestic kitchen. Yes it is noisy, however, it doesn't take long to produce a litre of juice so it's quiet again in under 1minute! A brush is included and provided you rinse everything straight away, particularly… Read more ·  1

the blade bowl using the brush, it is very easy to clean. The stainless steel looks great on our kitchen bench. We have had lots of juice and our worm farm loves the scraps. Highly recommended. Reliable, Easy to use, Tasty results!

Noisy but performs well – It's a great juicer in terms of squeezing as much juice out of fruit as possible. And it has a few parts that can be easily disassembled to clean after use. One of the parts can catch lots of fruit pieces and thus make it hard to clean. Definitely not just raising with running water can do. It's a bit bulky so for our small kitchen, it has to be… Read more

sit in the cupboard. The noise it makes is so bad that it scares my children. Once they see the juice out of it, they get over the noise right away. hehe. Suck out juice as much as possible noisy

great juicer – I use this juicer mainly for oranges which it works extremely well. I have also juiced apples, carrots and banana all with great consistent results. It cleans very easily, especially the blade/mesh part. A handy brush that was included for cleaning makes it quick and easy. Clean-up of pulp is a breeze if a plastic bag is placed in catcher bin, this is one juicer that I would certainly buy again. Easy to use, easy to clean,

A solid fruit and veggie juicer - can handle just about anything – A very strong motor as we use it to make beetroot carrot and lemon juice every morning and handles everything without any problems. Also have used it for various fruits and it has a large shoot which enables you to juice whole fruit and veg which is very useful. I genuinely do not think that there is one single veg it could not handle with… Read more

ease.

Taking it apart for clean up is very easy and clean up itself is very quick - just a few parts and a handy brush make the clean up a matter of mere minutes.

While I am very happy with my purchase (even more so since I bought in the factory shop and paid half the price of what it retails at in department stores) it should be noted that It has a very large number of rotations and while it 'crunches' through all fruit and veg with extreme ease and speed it at the same time is resulting in a fair amount of loss of juise with the pulp.

I have definitely noticed that the yield is not as good as with a slower juicer (but I guess that is a trade off for the strength and speed).

Also, the speed of the appliance / rotations I have noticed is making it noisier than its' less powerful brothers, so much so that when we try to make the juice very early in the morning our neighbours (who share out kitchen wall) will voice their displeasure at being woken up by loud banging on the wall, so if you are after a quiet machine this one would not be for you.

Also, you need to keep the machine far away from the edge of your bench top as when juicing root veg while it crunches them quickly and powerfully it does so with such a kick that it can literally jump off the bench (as I have learned when it took a dive off my bench top half way through a large beet).

My suggestion to Sunbeam would be to install suction cups in the next version.

All in all, it does exactly what is says on the box and does it with great power and ease... very powerful, makes light work of tough veg, wide 'feed funnel' allowing whole fruit and veg to be juiced, easy to clean, has a great large jug to juice directly into significantly noisier than less powerful machines, not that stable when tough (e.g. root) veg is being juiced - must be held down firmly while juicing

Good – I love this appliance. It is lovely stainlesss steel structure which looks great in any kitchen. The separation of juice and the rest is done very well and the scrap is very beneficial to the compost. 2 speeds allow for obtaining maximum fruit juice from all types of fruit. The brush that is included with the appliance cleans the mesh filter… Read more

very easily. The one litre job holds the right amount of juice for an average family to have a good glass full each. Great solid structure. Large fruit shute. Very easy to use and to clean up afterwards. Children can operate it with ease. Takes up a bit of room in the cupboard due to its size.
