Sunbeam LC7900

Owned for 4 years, still going strong – We use this processor most days. Not too loud like some processors can be. The base motor is a little heavy so ideally you’d want to keep on the bench. I recommend not putting parts in the dishwasher (as suggested not to in the manual) as we have and a few of the plastic parts fit a little tighter now. The slicing blade is really hard to get on and off as there is no release for it. Again, in hendsight we should have always hand washed parts. Still! Four years in and it’s in full working order. Use heaps, not too noisy, fast. Makes great nut butters and coleslaw in seconds. Highly recommend. If this one ever dies on us we’ll upgrade to a similar model (and hand wash parts) ;)

Never again – I am disappointed to say that this food processor did not cope with a small family amount of use at all. It didn't last the year and I really should have asked for a refund. It did not make life in my kitchen easier, it was not up to the job at all! I am much happier with a different brand and although it dose more to start it has outlasted the sunbeam by several years.

HATE this Sunbeam LC7900 processor – I tried so hard to put up with this food processor but it is frustrating beyond belief!!! Each time I've attempted to use this it has turned out to be a horrible mess and very time consuming. The blade doesn't stay in place unless you use one of the other attachments ontop to hold it down, which is very difficult to remove if you need to give the mixture a stir midway or add ingredients. As the other reviewer mentioned, it doesn't julienne carrots and yes there is a lot of waste that builds up ontop of the attachments. Also it does NOT handle liquids, it will spill out everywhere when trying to make soups. I also had plastic bits that chipped off into the food!! Terrible. And I'm most frustrated because it only just fell out of its 12 month warranty yesterday so I can't even get my money back.
Disappointed! – It can't julienne carrot, and created a lot of waste between the lid and blade. And after a few week using, the lid bit plastic started chipping. The plastic chips ended into the meal I cooked... Very dangerous!
Love this – I had been researching for months before I purchased this food processor. I have never purchased one new before as we always seem to inherit them. My last one was a very old in fact it was one of the first Breville wizz’s 550W something like that. I had my heart set on the top of the range Wizz it looked the bees knees , but where was I going to store the small suitcase for the accessories??? so i kept putting it off . Then I came across this one neat and all stored in the one place just what I was looking for easy to find all the accessories and utilize them . The 1100 w motor is perfect for what I do It may be fine having industrial type processor but im not running a restaurant serving 100 guests a night . All up Im very pleased with my purchase it has a good strong motor . I absolutely love the variable slicer have used it so much its not funny . I would have no problem recommending this product to any one The fact that everything is stored in the unit is excellent no more loosing the accessories. The extra wide chute & accessory draw
