controller will not work at all. So, if you have this blanket, use your warranty as soon as there is a problem, I wish I had but I'm always too busy to deal with this sort of problem. Last night was very cold and unfortunately my blanket stopped working! This time I will buy a different brand as the Sunbeam blanket is too expensive at $189.00 to only last 2 and half years.

Odour and unpredictable controls on one side – There is a smell like body odour we can't get rid of entirely, although it has improved after a couple of years use. Neither of us has a body odour problem so it's a mystery. Have followed washing instructions - washing it before each winter, store it according to instructions. Also, one side of the controls is a bit unpredictable as to whether it works or not, often needs jiggling about before it connects.

left it in the off position. I misplaced my docket so went out and bought a new one about 2 weeks ago and it already has the same issue and when I flick it between the modes I get sparks coming out of the switch.

Fantastic – I love this blanket so much,heats quickly,love the extra coils for your feet,when you hop into bed with cold feet the extra heat area for your feet is fantastic set it at 8 and you have a lovely warm bed in 20 minutes. Wish I didn't buy it – I bought this blanket yesterday on sale after reading a little about modern electric blanket safety (particularly Sunbeam). This blanket seems fine so far after one night - but my husband and I both find the coils to be uncomfortable. Wish I bought one with the coils inside a thicker softer underlay. Better safety, Coils not comfortable

Terrible quality controls. Don't waste your money – Bought one king size only to have control malfunction on one side after a couple of weeks. Sunbeam sent a new control which also only lasted about a week before malfunctioning so returned blanket to Myers (very helpful) for replacement. liked about it are that it is machine washable and has a good number of levels of electrical safety.

The way the blanket heats up takes a while so don't inspect anything instant or anything super hot as the heat come out slowly and subtly.

This is a good blanket if you can get it at a reduced price. I would be reluctant to pay full retail price for it. A good machine washable blanket with a number of levels of electrical safety. The extra coils where the feet are located don't do anything extra I found. The foot area is the same temperature as the rest of the blanket.

nice features that I like. It saved my electricity bills for have the air-con on all night in winter to keep warm. Double the switch individually control both sides of the blanket. If you bought a Queen size blanket and only use one side, you got the choice of doing so.
