Waste Of Time – It blew a fuse the moment I turned it on! I turned it over and unscrewed the bottom. There was glue inside it! Smoke everywhere, weird smell and worst of all, no slushie! This is just a bunch of smoke and plastic (also glue) now in the bin it goes.

Not worth unboxing – In my opinion, this slushie maker isn't worth the effort. A lot of mucking around and no slushie to show for it. I wish we could take ours back, but it was a present from my sister. I can't use it, and don't feel right giving it to charity so its going in the bin. Doesn't deliver what it is supposed to.

Second one to go in the bin – This is the second machine I've had. First one ran for 30 minutes and nothing. No slushie. Just colder drink. Cleaned it put it away then have it another go. still just a cold drink. No slushie. Then BANG!!! The motor had slowed down after the bang so we turned it off. Stupid piece of rubbish would not turn back on. Motor burnt out. Hate hate hate this product and the amount of money wasted on it and the money wasted on extras you need like rock salt. Not cheap to buy that either and use so much. Pathetic piece of useless garbage.

Everything. Doesn't work. Motor burns out. Pain to clean.

Works ok but requires lots of preparation and cleaning – It does what it says it does. However it requires lots of ice and salt and takes well over 20 minutes to turn the drink into what I would call a slushy consistency. It only serves two to three cups. It also can make a bit of a mess and isn't that easy to clean. Also very very noisy. Does eventually produce slushies. Takes too long, annoying to clean, pretty noisy.

Sunbeam SlushMagic – Takes awhile to work out how to use. It takes longer than 15mins to prepare then you only get a couple of drinks at a time. No good for cocktails. Wouldn't recommend. Uses too much ice and rock salt. The taste by adding extra to get a faster result does not taste good. Returning back to Farmers.

Been waiting 30 mins still no slushie – I can't even seem to make a slushie in this machine? I have read the instructions 3 times now and followed it to the letter and still no slushie? It has now been running for 30 minutes and is still very watery ??????? Why not, the box says slushie is minutes then the instructions state 10-15 minutes, this isn't the case for me is there a fault in these machines? I will be taking this back to the shop

Bad product! – Very disappointed with this product. Wanting to get my money back. The barrel ices up too much and it has a fit and the lid flies off. Thought by paying a decent amount it would work well. Sadly was I and my family mistaken. Have tried a number of ways to get the ice mixture right but doesnt seem to make any difference. Not happy at all. Total ripoff. Barrel kept icing up and would sit down properly and kept throwing the lid off.

Great result for the price – I think this machine does really well considering its only $50. And it's only ever on between 10-15 mins (bit longer on very warm days). Do not compare it to the quality of 7/11 slushies, cause they have professional machines that are usually on for hours. But for a quick fix this definitely does the job! are at it's coldest (even slightly frozen soft drink is good!) plus pre-chilled glasses from the freezer. Would recommend! Ease of use, the ability to choose any flavour slushie you'd like Waiting 15 minutes for it. But that is no different to asking a 7/11 to put on a fresh slushie. You'd probably be waiting longer!

Bad – Took it back for refund as it was [censored word removed]. only really works will full sugar soft drinks!!! The results with diet drinks or juice are less than great. Also there was an issue with the lid not staying on. Basically the container would get iced over which would force it out of the turning mechanism which made it work. Once the lid popped off the coldness seemed to be compromised and it took even longer to get results

Too much effort for little reward – This machine uses too much ice and salt to get 2 cups of slushie - that is, if it works at all. Using the machine is a hit/miss affair. full sugar drinks - coke seems to work best - and the capacity of the whole jug is only two cups. I've used it a few times but now have a Sunbeam Avalanch (see my review) which is much better! Novelty (which wears off very quickly) Uses too much ice and salt, Won't work in warm weather, Too much effort for little slushie, Difficult clean-up
