Had an awesome day on Fitzroy Island with Sunlover. Everything was super smooth, easy check-in, quick pick-up for the snorkel gear, and the lunch box was actually really tasty. The glass-bottom boat tour was heaps of fun. The crew shared lots of interesting info about the reef, and we even spotted a turtle swimming right next to the boat. But… Read more

the absolute highlight for me was the snorkeling. Fitzroy Island is full of turtles, and I saw more than I ever expected. If you go, definitely ask the Sunlover crew where the best spots are. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly love what they do.

All in all, such a fun day out. Would totally do it again!

I had the most incredible day on the full-day Moore Reef tour with Sunlover Reef Cruises! The pontoon was amazing, the crew were so friendly, and the snorkelling was unreal. Clear water, colourful coral, and so much marine life. The waterslide and glass bottom boat tour made the day even better. Such a fun, well-organised experience from start to finish. I’d go again in a heartbeat! Show details

What an incredible experience from start to finish. The Reef & Island combo was the perfect way to squeeze the best of the Great Barrier Reef and Fitzroy Island into one unforgettable day. The morning at Moore Reef was unreal — crystal-clear water, friendly crew, and so many ways to explore. We loved the guided snorkel tour; our guide pointed out… Read more

turtles, giant clams, and fish we would’ve completely missed on our own. The pontoon had plenty of space, and the glass-bottom boat and underwater observatory were brilliant for when we wanted a break but still wanted to see the reef. Lunch was fresh and filling, and the whole setup was so easy and well organised.

In the afternoon we cruised over to Fitzroy Island, which was like landing in a postcard. We wandered the rainforest tracks, chilled on the beach, and still had time for another snorkel at the shoreline. The island is stunning — the perfect wind-down after the excitement of the reef.

Every crew member we met was warm, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. Safety briefings were clear, gear was great quality, and nothing ever felt rushed. It honestly felt like two premium tours packed into one.

If you’re torn between the reef or the island, don’t be — this tour gives you both, and it’s absolutely worth it. One of the best days we’ve ever had on the water.

ocean floor walking and helicopter flights, excellent service and made my 84yr old mother feel welcome and included too. A must do activity when visiting Cairns.
