Bought one of these in 2020. Used on a 1000m2 house block in the tropics. Plusses - easy to start and cut well. Mulcher is a good feature. Negatives. Rusted out in 5 years and has to be replaced. Contacted manufacturer and was told that they dont do well in coastal areas and that the warranty was 2 years. My previous mower (Victa) lasted nearly… Read more

20 years in the same conditions.

Overall rating. Suggest that you go with a more reputable brand that will last you longer at the same price.

Great Lawn Mower – I bought this lawn mower recently after moving to the country. The cordless Ryobi that I had bought years ago just couldn't cut the Kikuyu grass on the country property. So I did some research before purchasing the SupaSwift. I'm so glad I did. While I was checking out the mowers available I remembered the SupaSwift that I grew up with. A search… Read more

revealed that they were still producing mowers and my searches revealed that they had the best reviews of all the mowers available in Australia.

This was no surprise. My father only ever had one mower from what I can remember. And He loved mowing his lawn. In the end I settled on the 777KMC because it was the cheapest mower in the range with a Kohler motor. These also had excellent reviews and it seems that parts are widely available locally and overseas.

The mower starts first pop every time. It cuts the lawn beautifully and the catcher works pretty well especially on dry grass. Really, it is so easy to start compare to mowers of old. One gentle pull is all that has been required so far and she bursts into action. I'm quickly starting to love my SupaSwift and am happy that my father introduced me to them all those years ago. Top machine.

Unsatisfactory mower – Supaswift blue Kohler XTX 4 stroke149 cc uses small amount of oil after every cut, (3mm on dip stick after one hour) $600 new, mulcher plug dislodges easily, auto choke controls unprotected easily damaged, underneath steel chasis haphazardly painted bare metal. Maker notified not much help, retailer not interested has retired closed shop. Othefwise very good mowing and mulching grass. Show details

Smart choice...No gimmicks – Purchased the self propelled version. You can tell from the first use that this mower is solid and well built. No gimmicks or frills. The large ball bearing wheels make it easy to manoeuvre. The Kohler motor is a gem and never bogs down in the thick stuff. Big fuel tank is a bonus. Previously owned other brands and you can tell this have been… Read more

made to last...especially for the value. Power from the Kohler XT 675 is unmatched at this price point.

Great simple mower – Purchased a very well used example for $100. I have had it now for 4yrs, and mow a very large lawn every couple of weeks. Never let me down, and the Kohler engine starts first pull every time  Show details

Excellent mower for the price – We bought this on sale from mower power, paid a but extra to have it all set up ready to go. It’s a powerful mower and perfect for us as we don’t have a huge lawn, we prefer a petrol mower but didn’t want to spend a fortune and there isn’t s huge range at bunnings. Would definitely recommend!  Show details

Quality better than others of the price – I bought this mower before Christmas. It has the Kohler 6.5 XT 149 cc motor. This motor has a cast iron cylinder liner like the more expensive Hondas so should last well. Many mowers today only have aluminium bores. Even many B&S are Al bores. It has plenty of power and torque so does not stall. Mulching is excellent. But if you use the… Read more

catcher you can leave the mower running while emptying it.

It has one fault. You need to take out and clean the air filter often because it clogs and slows the mower badly.

Bought at Pittstop mowers Bundoora because their price was good.

Quality Lawn Mower – I bought my first lawn mower Supaswift Blue 777 KMC with Kohler 4 stroke engine XT6.5 litre capacity on 20/12/2012. I have mowed my lawn 9 times since buying and I find the Supaswift easy to start and adjust for grass cutting setting. The big 8" wheels are very important for easy pushing as I have very uneven lawn with very tough grass (Sir… Read more

Walter - Matilda variety - grows 4-5 inches in 6 summer days). My grass need to be mowed every week in summer and I have yet to experience the mowing frequency in winter. I am very happy with the lawn mower performance. In 9 weeks I have used 5 liters of premium unleaded petrol for mower and a trimmer.

I bought the mower with mulching capability and I am glad that I did. My grass was 6 inches tall and after my first cut, the next cut was just catch-n-mulch and the lawn mowing time was cut in half as it is faster to move around the lawn without the 50 litre grass catcher.

The mower does excellent mulching and the lawn looks like a very inviting green carpet. The price difference between a mower with mulching capability and non-mulching capability was just AUD 40. My advice is to buy the mower with a mulching capability. Sturdy mower with big wheels for easy pushing, 10 grass cutting settings, 18" cutting wheel, low noise, easy start and very sturdy handle for pushing the mower.

Great first impressions – I used this mower for the first time today and I'm really impressed. This machine is easy to start and cuts the grass very cleanly. The mulching performance is similar to a Victa Panther mower I owned previously. Mulching tip, don't set the cutting height to low. The big 8" wheels and light weight made pushing this mower on my sloping block a fairly easy task. heaps of features for the price, very easy to use, nice smooth running engine  Show 3 replies

For lawn mowing enthusiasts – This mower has many features that would endear it to many mowing enthusiasts who are after a quality, easy to start and use rotary mower. It has a good quality American 3.8 Kohler XT-6 engine on an 18 inch steel chassis, a Mulch and Catch feature and a 50 litre hard catcher. Also there are 4 blades on a steel cutting disc. and it has a 10… Read more

position steel height adjuster. Double loop handle, 18 inch steel chassis with large 8 inch ball bearing wheels.

The starting cord is fitted to the handle that allows you to start it in an upright position, instead of bending down to pull the cord. The petrol filler cap is big and sits on top of the mower and the large oil filler cap (yellow) is also positioned at the top of the engine.

Starting is easy with a decompression feature, so there's no fighting against compression. It has large ball bearing wheels that won't sink into your lawn. It's also very economical on fuel (unleaded) and has a good muffler that reduces engine noise significantly.

It also has a 2 year warranty. Easy to start and use
