'06 Suzuki Boulevard C50T – Purchased new in 2006 for $7k fully loaded cruiser. (Couldnt afford a Harley at 4x the price). Aftermarket extras purchased and self installed- exhaust, luggage rack, wider foot pads, wider rear sissybar/pad, front cruusing/crash bars, front light bar, electronic commander, larger air intake/filter. ($1,300 vs $5,000+ HD parts). I can say, i have… Read more
never been more satisfied! Fully adjustable height, water cooled w/automatic fan keeps bike from never overheating even idling in 100 degree heat, super smooth and comfortable ride. Very easy handling. Only 2 downsides are it is slightly underpowered for 2 heavier ppl (500 lbs for the both of us), and 5 sp transmission takes bike to higher RPMs at 70+ mph. Now have had the bike for 17 years, 26k miles, ridden up and down east coast Maine to Georgia. Only replaced tires, brakes, headlight once, battery 2x, and yearly oil change. Definitely a bike worth its money!
all good except stiff front forks – A lovely bike, and at 78 y.o. its my first cruiser amid many other bikes in my time. BUT, after 18000 k's the front forks are driving me nuts, enough to try to sell the bike and go back to "ordinary" bikes. A pity, but if they don't bounce then my riding suffers. Otherwise, all good, a nice, reliable machine.A Show details
