Disappointed the order got cancelled – I had ordered hair dryer from Laifen Black Friday sale. Got an email today that they cannot fulfill the order. Customer from Australia be aware the product cannot be shipped to australia.

Beware! Too good to be true! The reviews online don’t style curly hair straight or show them 8 hours later for a reason.
The hairdryer heat didn’t get hot enough to close the hair follicle on my curly hair, so that the style lasts more than a day. Same results repeated by a hair stylist. The air blows too strong (even on low) to keep good tension with the round brush barrel to hold and smooth down shorter fine hairs. I had frizzy roots, curls coming back and had to redo my hair in full the next day.
Dyson’s version gets hotter, each setting has more air variation, it has more attachments and has EXCELLENT customer service. You do pay for that but it may be worth it in the long run.
Laifen customer service review: BEWARE
Laifen’s responses are selective. I asked a simple question (did Aus site have an equivalent sale code as the US site). Their reply was quick but didn’t answer my question. I replied to ask in a different way and didn’t get a reply - this happened before I purchased the dryer.
I didnt receive a receipt of purchase email or a delivery notice from Laifen and the purchase was listed as ‘Dog Gear’(?!) in my bank statement. The order suddenly arrived one day. Then I got very sick for 3 weeks, went to hospital. We used it a total 5 times after I was better. I attempted to make a return 38 days after purchase, which was refused. I replied and provided proof of my hospital discharge and Laifen didn’t respond, even after 2 follow up emails. The original response from Laifen said to get in touch if I had further questions. I eventually got an auto generated email asking how their service was with no resolution. I gave up, not worth the energy.
The totality of this experience is a hard pass on this brand for me.
Dyson customer service comparison: An attachment broke on my vacuum two years out of warranty - without asking Dyson sent me a free replacement. I still own and use that vacuum 15 years later. I added another Dyson cordless vacuum to my household two years ago. Their products are expensive but in the long term were well worth the money.
