What a load of rubish.Spent ages to get the parameter cable somehow fixed.The problem is that it just follow the parameter cable and mowes it again and again.Wouldnt move to another area.Just mowing the same area again and again.The wheels sticking on top of that where only one wheel will spin.

Atrocious, the most flawed thing I've ever bought – Possibly the most flawed thing I have ever bought. Atrocious. Couldn’t get it to function properly after about 14 hours of setting up and trouble-shooting with the Swift support guy. None of its functions would consistently work properly except when I made a small test area and even then it was still dysfunctional. I received a replacement mower, still wouldnt work. Eventually he said that some peoples yards are just incompatible with the limitation wire and its magnetic fields which are supposed to guide the mower. my yard is just an ‘L’ shape, nothing unusual or large.
The spiked wheels rip up the ground and turn it into a muddy mess in areas where it turns a lot, such as corners. And this was in summer and autumn, it would be much worse in winter when the grass grows thinner and the soil is wetter. The spikes on the wheels rip up the limitation wire when its placed on the surface.
Gets bogged very easily. When it is getting bogged, it will keep spinning one wheel and that wheel digs a hole until it is completely bogged, it will then get bogged again in the same spot unless you repair all the holes it makes, but if you just put loose dirt in there it will dig that up again more easily than before and get bogged again. Its quite heavy compared to the competition. Weight balance is wrong, too much weight over the lazy wheel. Needs to be more over the driven wheels. Probably part of why it gets bogged so easily. Cant handle buffalo grass. Gets bogged in buffalo grass, even on flat ground which has been mown shorter than its rated cutting height, seems fine with other grass types though. Spike-like parts which point downwards around the blades get caught on grass which is shorter than the machine is designed to mow, causing it to get bogged. Though these are not always in contact with the grass when it gets bogged.
The manual was absolute rubbish. Propper instructions not in the manual, customer support happy to give them once purchased. Manual doesnt suggest keeping the limitation wire above ground to begin with while setting-up, would have made things much easier. The swift support guy knew to do this though. Doesn’t explain the error codes properly, almost impossible to decipher what the problem actually is. Manual doesnt explain that it must start mapping the area by following the limitation line all the way around when it is first turned on. And while its doing this, it wont behave normally. If it cant follow the whole perimeter wire, then it simply wont mow the lawn. Mower always turns R when exiting the charging station and will ignore limitation wire initially (for 20 seconds or so) so it will cross over limitation wire and become stranded, unless charging station is orientated a specific (and not always practical) way. The manual did not specify that this mowers charger had to be aligned in this way. robot mowers charging stations generally don’t need this alignment. Blades stop and start as is travels the lawn, leaving sections unmown, these tend to be areas of thicker grass, leaving them unmown leads to them becoming even thicker, which perpetuates the problem and leads to mower getting bogged in it.
The limitations of the machine especially with regard to the limitation wire are not advertised. The distance the mower can actually mow from the edge of objects is not advertised, nor is it in the manual, would not have bought one if i had known just how far it mows from things. I think most robot mowers have this issue though.
It mows much shorter than the height specified on the cutting height adjustment dial.
I was astounded by how badly this thing is designed, its not fit to be released to the public, its seems like a rough early-prototype. Its also sold under other brands too, ‘Mowro RM18’ I think.
Swift support were great. Very easy to get in contact with and had many suggestions to help solve the issues. Sent out a replacement mower to see if that solved the problems. But ultimately they couldn’t fix what seems to be a faulty design.

Safe and quiet, for smooth areas without obstacles – Took the plunge in black Friday sale to add mowing to my house robot fleet. Straightforward to set up and operate. Mower is super quiet and has lots of safety features to make sure no one gets hurt. Although about after a week the mower started going along in an arch rather than straight line. And a day layer it spun in a circle while mowing and dug a hole into the lawn. Not so useful. It's now back with the Swift seller for repairs of suspected wheel sensor fault. So here my impression so far:
Pros: - Straightforward to set up - Whisper quiet - Safety all around so that no one gets hurt - Moves slowly and gracefully - Mowing height easily adjustable with turn of knob
Cons: - No interface to schedule at desired times or use manually. Schedule relative to last use - Always needs to start off from charging station or boundary wire with edge mow. So can't put on desired lawn spot to start mowing - Can get stuck easily compared to other robot mower I tried. Two reasons why:
1. the mower has front wheel drive and swings it's back out. This sideways swing gets it stuck easily when the back support wheel moves sideways against obstacle like lawn edges, border pavers or into upper limit length grass or sandy patch
2. Mower front wheel drive makes it go with drive wheels first into challenging areas like loose sandy patches or onto small obstacles like fallen fruit. So more easily getting stuck than rear wheel drive
- Broke down after a week with firmware bug. Teething issue with newly released product. Swift warranty action was prompt and courteous.
