Throw away – If the battery goes flat just throw the phone away.There are no batteries to replace the original.Southern Phone staff were just hopeless.

A terrible phone - failed after less than 2 years - no band 28! – Purchased this device from Southern Phone in an attempt to help out my 80yo grandmother who still lives alone on rural property. Please do not make my mistake and purchase this phone! Here is why: - Device will not boot after ~20 months - No 700mhz (band 28) support = poor coverage - Monitoring portal barely functional and will not show last known location if device is offline (no battery/coverage) - Very weak display (broke when attempting to install the sim card) - User Interface is slow - Wristband uses bluetooth to connect to phone = poor coverage/unreliable - Southern Phone support has been terrible (worse than the big 3!)

Southern phones swissvoice seniors phone seems to be a rort - buyer beware – Phone is marketed at seniors, but does not suit seniors who have already used a smartphone before. We got it from Southern Phones who assured us that we could add facebook, abc radio etc, other apps, and this was not true. Also the service to be able to access the phone remotely and support my senior would never ever set up, so still paying $7 a month for nothing. Southern staff do not understand the phone well and would not allow my senior to cancel the contract even though he never has used the phone. Hours and hours on the phone with southern and commitments made by them that weren't kept. Now going to ombudsman to take it up the line.

Beware – I cannot download apps or update Android. Southern phone now tell me It will not download apps, or update Android, and are refusing to refund. Ask all of the questions before you buy !

Great phone – I got the swissvoice c50 with the sos bracket through southern phones very happy with the product works great and great deal through southern phones I can now go out with price of mind knowing that I have the sos bracket and the phone is so easy to use for people that get confused with smart phones I love it
