Very poor workmanship, unsafe outcome, and unacceptable after-sales service We are a childcare centre and engaged Synthetic Grass & Rubber Surfaces Australia Pty Ltd to install soft fall playground surfacing in January 2023. Immediately after installation, the quality of work was extremely poor: Cracks appeared straight away Bike track lines were uneven, not straight, and poorly finished

The three lines were not even the same colour

Workers left a large amount of rubbish on our playground

We had to formally complain to management. It took almost two months before they returned to fix the issues. Even after the so-called repair, small cracks remained along the edges. At that time, manager Scott told us to “keep an eye on it” and contact them if it worsened.

As a busy childcare centre, we monitored the area and contacted them again in January 2025 when the damage had clearly worsened. I made many phone calls and spoke repeatedly to Jacqui, who handles complaints. Each time, I was told the message would be passed on, but nothing happened.

After multiple emails, Rohan Fisher (Director – Sales & Operations) finally came to our centre in March. In front of myself and other staff (witnesses), he promised that he would organise repairs for all the cracking. This never happened.

Since then, there has been no follow-up, no repairs, and no accountability. Attempts to contact Jacqui and Rohan were ignored. Rohan then pushed the matter to Brett Wainwright (Financial Controller), who completely refused to take any responsibility.

Disgusting customer service

Ridiculous and inconsistent management

Completely unacceptable for a company working in childcare environments

Most importantly, this surface now presents a potential safety hazard for children, which is totally unacceptable and not consistent with any reasonable warranty or duty of care.

We do not accept this outcome and would not recommend this company to any childcare service or organisation that values safety, quality workmanship, and professional after-sales support.
