Hunk of junk – Why can't these line trimmer manufacturers bite the bullet and pay the license or whatever to the simple load systems. The complicated double line system is archaic and very frustrating to load. I'm off to the hardware store to buy an attachment. Starts OK. Archaic line feeding system.

I thought that I'd thrown this line trimmer out but had in fact put it in the back of the basement. After being away for 6 years I found it recently, cleaned it up and got it going again. It started up and runswell. The original line feeder mechanism was crap though and I had fitted a L'il Juey attachment which is brilliant. I'll write another review lifting the rating a bit.

Good – In the 7 years I have had mine, the only thing that has gone wrong is the cable in the shaft snapped (as I was cutting reads in a creek). I modified one out of a Ryobi and it worked a treat!. Great yeard trimmer, but something with more guts is needed for bigger jobs. A better unit than Homelite and Ryobi. I have one that is the same as this except id doesn't have a clutch. It starts every time, I change the plug every 2 years or so. Mine would be about 7 years old, and the things I don't like about it are the dact it doesn't have a clutch, and that the breather in the fuel cap (cork bit) has started to leak. Mixture too rich - they run better at 33:1
