I ordered a custom van in October 2022 with a completion date of July 2023. During this time, I only learned of delays or issues when "I" inquired—nothing was upfront or transparent. The final build was severely delayed (without notification) and had errors to ALL my customizations, despite these being listed on my order and multiple re-confirmations from Tango that everything was correct and would be included when I inquired. Communication was so poor that emails took 2-3 weeks for responses, and I was constantly chasing for updates. To this day, I still haven't received a handover despite having my van for seven months.

Upon delivery in December 2023, I discovered multiple issues, including missing parts and a cracked, incorrectly colored splashback. Being interstate I relied solely on photos, & Tango to quality check my Van; which did not happen. I was then handed off to the warranty department before I had even used my brand-new van, which was a huge concern. This resulted in a frustrating runaround, with weeks between emails and empty reassurances that the issues would be fixed and missing parts sent out, which never happened. It took seven months to resolve these problems, and only after I involved Consumer Protection. Even in the final correspondence, I still had to correct the information they had on file regarding my warranty issues as they were quoting incorrect details.

Overall, dealing with Tango Caravans has been nothing short of a nightmare—extremely stressful and disappointing. Their service is slow, with no attention to detail, quality checks, or respect for a client's custom order. They are unresponsive and show no effort or accountability in addressing customer concerns or rectifying their mistakes, both from the sales and warranty departments. They had multiple opportunities to resolve my issues but consistently failed, leaving me to chase them repeatedly. Whilst the van itself is okay, it is no longer our dream van due to the constant reminder of the negative and torturous experience we have had to endure with Tango Caravans.

I would not recommend them. Future buyers, beware.

Unfortunately we are still waiting for reimbursement of our Dbars and starter pack that were in our contract but not given- we were told buy them and we would be reimbursed. 2 powerpoints that were contracted and paid for but not installed, also need to be refunded. We are hopeful that these funds will be settled soon.... it's been over 6 weeks. A small business that provides beautiful vans but we believe they just have some internal issues to resolve.

Very poor quality. Many faults. If it wasn't for Silastic i don't know how they would make these Caravans – Be aware the coating on paneling on the interior of our van is cracking and falling off . We contacted Tango caravans but because the van is a little over twelve months old and we are the second owner they Would not cover it under Warranty. The van is kept under cover and has been used twice covering aprox 3000 ks. Very poor quality of Build. More like [Content Removed] made than Australian Made. Mark.

informed that the caravan wouldn't be ready this year. Shockingly, they denied my request to view the fully paid-for caravan, leaving me to speculate whether they sold it to someone else and bumped me to next year's build.

Their latest stance? Stepping away from the deal and claiming a 28-day window for returning my deposit. This has left me stranded with non-refundable holiday park bookings and no alternative plans for the upcoming holidays.

Save yourself the trouble; heed this warning and read the experiences of others before considering Tango Caravans. I'm not the only one facing these issues. A word of caution: Do not buy a caravan from this company.
