We've had our Taste the Difference Air Fryer for close to 10 years and use it 3 - 4 nights a week. It's quick, saves electricity, and food tastes great. You can do scones, cakes, roast a chicken or bake vegetables and so much more. We've never had a problem with it, so it's a quality appliance. Ours is the white one - V3 - which are still… Read more

available, so this is the one I'd recommend. It's larger than most air fryers and I'd definitely recommend the larger size. There's only 2 of us, but we often like to cook enough for two nights and the smaller ones wouldn't be big enough for that. The downside is that it takes up a lot of cupboard space so we store ours in the Laundry cupboard.

Do not buy this brand. Faulty airfryer I never used, turned on first time and it was tripping the household power. Tried at another house- same thing and tv shop avondale wont refund

Harassment over cancelled Taste the Difference Air fryer order – Dear Sir, RE: Harassment over cancelled Taste the Difference Air fryer order On April 21, 2020 I called the tel no as advertised on Taste the Difference on the TV Shop for the air fryer. I ordered the 2 L size. However after a few hours I cancelled the order as I was not sure whether I wanted the product. I have been harassed ever since by the… Read more

seller of the product telling me that the item has already been shipped in 2 different days. I received 2 calls in two days April 22,23 2020 telling me that the item was already shipped. I have continued to inform them that the order has been cancelled a few hours after it has been ordered on the same day 21-4-2020. Another caller told me that he is in the Philippines who told me information which were incorrect and again told me that the product has already been shipped for which I responded that the order has been cancelled and if they still delivered the item that this is their problem. The person also asked me for my date of birth. I was very concerned as I used my credit card for the transaction. I did not give the person my date of birth. I am thankful that I have cancelled the order early on. This is the first time that I used TV shop and learned a lesson not to do it again. If the item is still delivered after the cancellation, I will refer the case to the Australian Consumer Affair .

This is a great air fryer although it's capacity is small – I bought this unit as a two-for-one and gave the other to my mate who is diabetic. He found it too large a footprint for his home, and it had a limit to small chickens that were not readily available. He also said that you would need two units to cook fish and chips at the same time. I have tried the chip rotisserie and found it small and awkward… Read more

to use and remove/open. I haven't tried to cook kababs on it.

I have used a second rack set at right angles to the first in order to cook chips without them falling through the rack. I do enjoy cooking frozen fish and potato scallops in the unit, chicken breast, sausages etc.

The non-stick surface had stuck on food I haven't been able to remove - like a ceramic blister. The non-stick is lifting in places. I now use an aluminium sheet to cover the bottom of the cook area and lift the fats out of the unit. The rack holds this cover in place.

The top area with the heater and fan unit, and see through glass is awkward to clean and cleaning instruction are unavailable. My cheap air fryer - heater element and fan housed in a glass lid; do have cleaning instructions that clean the whole internal area.

The cheap air fryer is about fifty dollars and does most of the same things with the exception of the rotisserie (which I feel is an added nonsense).

This unit fares better than the original Phillips unit I bought. The MAIN difference is that it exhausts rather than circulates fat laden air around the internal unit.

Now Taste a difference have an air fryer oven which I feel is a much better deal and has larger capacity. It also has a dryer function and retains a similar foot print. For me: that is a better purchase. I haven't purchased this unit though.

The salesman is telling the truth! – I purchased my TTD Airfryer about a year ago for the same reason as the previous reviewer. Loved my Phillips Airfryer but needed a bigger one. My son snapped up the Phillips and loved it. I have to admit the commercials annoy me and it takes a lot for me to purchase as I don't believe all the hype....BUT..... this one IS and DOES everything you… Read more

see on TV! It does need to stay on the bench as it has a reasonable size footprint but it gets used all the time so no problem there. I was surprised to find the rotisserie really works that well too!

I haven't used it for cakes other than scones which only took about 10 mins and turned out well. I use it for anything else I would put in a frypan, microwave, oven or grill and have no problems at all.

It saves me powering up the big oven on most occasions so a good power saver as well. No problem with the plastic lid opening mechanism so far. You do need to make sure you fully extend the plastic switch before you put pressure opening the lid though or you could possibly stress the mechanism and snap it. Like i said though, I've had mine for a good year or so and still going strong.

Best appliance I have ever had – I have cooked and heated up almost everything in this. From pasta to cakes, steak, fish, roast and vegetables. The meat is juicy and no food has ever been dry and unsuitable to eat. It is very easy to clean. Can't do without it. Hanger had it for almost two years and use it at least twice a day Show details

Best Kitchen Product ever! – I cook my family roast meat and vegetable in here mainly, it is fabulous, quick and the results are amazing, crispy potatoes and the crackle on the pork is the best I have ever had. While is is a little fiddly to clean it in no way distracts from my absolute love of this kitchen cooker. Show details

I love this air roaster. and couldn't live without it – I cook everything from chicken, steak, sausages, and fish and even a full beef roast. I just put the roast on the rack and place the vegetables around it and it cooks it the same as an oven but in a fraction of the time. It also makes great Southern fried chicken and lovely hot chips.  Show details

Was great when it worked – Lost use of the touch screen 1 year and 3 months in, 3 months after the warranty had expired. The store I purchased through could not assist in replacing and called TV shop and they said the part that needed replacing could not be replaced and would not be able to help with a replacement. For the money I spent on it I would have expected it to have lasted longer than 1 year and 3 months. Really disappointed  Show details

Would not buy again – Very dissatisfied with this product. Had to return the first one light didn’t work. The door on this air fryer is very flimsy to say the least , tried tightening the screws in the door only to find they had been stripped. Opened the door as instructed to clean the glass and 2 of the little lugs that hold the screws were broken off. Inside the two… Read more

glass sections of the door was filling with grease. The shelves are also very stained and appear rusty. I have only had the appliance for about 6 months I live alone so not over used and also I am 76 years old so I look after my things ALso the chip basket is so hot And hard to open you almost have to wait till it cools to open it So therefore what ever is cooked in it will lose its heat. I would not recommend this product to anyone for the price it’s a complete waste of money , mine is going in the bin

Air fryer oven TTD – Four months later it stopped working, sparks flew and I thought it would explode. Lucky it has been discontinued but they sent this as a replacement. Not so lucky me, wasn’t told it was discontinued and basically forced to accept the air roaster because they refuse to give me a refund. Also have been told my warranty started when I received the original Air-Fryer so beware of all purchases. Have given it one star because I have to rate it Show details

not good quality – Cooked the food well but only used it about once a week and the fan failed on it, came up with a E3 error which i don't know what that means but considering we only had it 10 months and only used it 10-12 times i find it should have lasted a lot longer than that. would not recommend it . Show details

Expected more – Just out of warranty and nothing but issues.... repeatedly won't register the door is closed so won't work and steadily the issue has gotten worse and worse to the point I've gotta leave a brick on top to get it to weigh it down enough and now the handle has snapped off. For the amount you spend on the machine I really expected better quality. My Kmart cheapie is better than this! Show details

BAD!!!!!!!! – I purchased one of these and had it for approximately 6 months until smoke started to come out the bottom of the appliance. After 6 weeks of unsuccessful contact with the company, I was advised that I would have to pay to get the thing back to them and if there was nothing wrong I would have to pay $150 fee. Guess What? I threw it to the tip and went and bought one from Harris Scarfe! Show details

One use and broken!!! – We used this product for the first time last night to do some chips. The chips were awesome! Pity we can't say the same for the fryer! for standard of this product. However the one saving grace is I did not pay full price for it. I bought it from someone who bought a treadmill and the fryer came as a free gift. Not surprising they were giving them away. Free is about all it is worth, however I paid a whopping $20.00 for it! I can only hope it redeems itself by performing in other ways. At least I know what brand NOT to buy in the future, especially as they are retailing for $390.00!!!

Disappointed – The element blew after 18 months and apparently I can't get the element replaced and non-stick surface came off the bottom nearly straight away and it's a two-handed operation to close it .. so way too expensive to replace.. Excellent cooker and very well made – Everything I have cooked turns out beautifully. noticed the hinge on the lid had been broken in the fall. I plugged her in thinking she wouldn't work but low and behold she is still cooking. The lid will not stay open by itself and is probably repairable but she still cooks beautifully. Now that is one well made though machine !!

Useful product – The french fries and chopped potatoes, particularly the sweet potatoes) are beautiful. But it takes time to cook them. The only fault is the rotisserie basket which keeps coming undone during cooking, spilling the potatoes into the main dish. It seems the catch on the basket needs to be better manufactured to secure the goods  Show details

very disappointed – tried rotiserrie twice and keeps coming out of attachment holes. Tried chicken tenders last week for grandkids they were too crunchy and chips not cooked properly. Says it can do a whole family meal but you can't put everything in at once. I have had 2 airfryers before which were great this one bigger so thought it would be better, very expensive as they would not let me have just one as supposedly get one free? over $500 worth what a joke  Show details
