TCL P8M 85P8M (85")

Was perfect till internet went down – We loved our big TV, unfortunately after 2.5yrs we had an internet issue, that was fixed, however our TV didn't, since then it doesn't go passed the 4 circles then says Android then goes back to start again, frustrating, got in touch with tcl they informed us to download an update, to which we did, but to no avail, have rang 2 TV companies, 1 said it was probably the motherboard, the other stated it was the main board, good luck in trying to find one and that it's a common problem with that particular TV, so we still have no big TV, have had to go back to our smaller tcl and thats had no issues but we want our big one fixed. At a loss now as to what to do.

Cannot turn off motion smoothing! – WARNING: bought the 85P8M. The TV itself is fantastic, however every time you change sources (ie Netflix to YouTube or TV on/off) the judder reduction option (aka motion smoothing) turns back on even though it shows as off in the menu. Seems to happen on all of TCL’s larger/higher end TV’s. Unfortunately this makes TCL a no go until this software fault is updated.
