Recently I have had the displeasure of dealing with the support (or lack of) from Tech4Tourers after my car was involved in a car accident. My smash repairer purchased a set of headlights from Tech4tourers for my FJ Cruiser to replace the smashed ones. I had similar custom LED headlights in it previously which were ordered from the USA. When the lights were fitted the problems began. My dashlights were so dim I could not see them when driving at night. I have two other sets of LED lights, a light bar on my roof and spotties on my bullbar. None of these worked when the new lights were connected.

The auto electrician the smash repairer took the car to could not work it out. They tried removing the canbus adaptors. Changed the canbus adaptors. Ran every single test they could to try and diagnose the problem.

They contacted Tech4Tourers. Tech4Tourers only method of contact is via email. They do not advertise a phone number or have an address listed on their website or socials. The response was pretty rubbish from them to say the least, they basically told them, "They should work, we've never had a problem with them"

The car sat with the auto electrician for the week before they sent it back to the smash repairer telling them they could not get the lights to work.

I received the car back and was told to get my own auto electrician to have a look at it.

Again they tried changing the canbus adaptors. Purchased new canbus adaptors. None of it worked. They tried contacting Tech4Tourers and got the same rubbish response from them. They went back and forth with Tech4Tourers, even requesting a contact number as Tech4Tourers took a minimum of 24 hours to response to a simple email. Finally this week my auto electrician had had enough and sought about fixing the problem his own way. He wired in relays to fix the issue and I finally had a car with working headlights, LED lightbar and spotties and a dashboard I could actually see!

All in all I spent over $1300 at the auto electrician after spending $1200 on the lights themselves!

I would never use Tech4Tourers again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone!
