Noisey – We bought this model because of the filters being easier to clean compared to the cloth filter in our old one. We haven't had it long enough for the first clean,seeing it is less complicated inside it will be easier to clean. I think this is why these models are noisier. The switches are easier to operate it. Compact – Being a builder, slide out range hood are quiet popular when clients want a seamless and simple kitchen design. I installed one in my home as it goes with my other Technika appliances and for its almost ‘hidden’ design. Its not as powerful as our twin motor in our main kitchen ( this one is in the butlers pantry) but still does a good job at removing odors and very easy to clean.  Show reply

Breeze to clean – Came with our Carlisle home as a standard inclusion for our butlers pantry. Seems to a great job extracting smells and cooking smoke and steam in such a small kitchen. Filters unclip easily and clean up is only really the filters with just a quick wipe down of the fascia so easy maintenance.  Show reply

Works but loud – It works well, easy to use and has switches in the right place. However, this is with out a doubt, the noisiest range hood I've ever used. I can't hear anything when using it. I can't play music, I can't hear the rain outside, I can't hear people talking - the fan is just so incredibly loud! Very annoying.
