Dishwasher – We have a Bellissimo Techniko dishwasher in the house we bought . Its a piece of rubbish Doesnt clean properly, smells after 2 cycles I would not recommend this product

Does the job for us – This dishwasher came with our new home. We knew what we were getting and decided it would do until it dies and then replace it with a "quality" machine. a pretty easy life at our house and it works well for our purpose when using the 90 minute cycle. It's pretty quiet, easy to operate once you get familiar with it and hasn't had any operational issues in almost 2 years. Unfortunately after about 12 months the racks started to show signs of rusting. Not so much the outer frame but more the upright 'fingers' that help to space the dishes out which caused the effected ones to bend over or fall off completely. We did however have a Tecknika rep contact and resolve the issue by replacing the racks for us since the machine was still within the warranty period which we were very pleased about of course. The new racks will see us past the warranty period now so I doubt Tecknika will be replacing the racks again should the same problem arise. We're not dish washing machine experts so we're not sure if this is a common problem with all wire racks but it's the first time we've experienced it. Apart from this issue the machine has functioned well and without any other issues. After reading many reviews on many different brands of machines, expensive and budget, it seems there's always the chance you'll have issues. So long as the product functions as promoted the next most important thing for us is the customer care side of the equation and during this experience with Tecknika we're more than satisfied.

Exactly what it’s programme to do/ never disappoint! – Easy to use, quiet, dishes sparkling clean. Had no problems during the 13yrs. I cleaned it once a month with Finish dishwasher cleaner. Now I’m ready to upgrade to newer model. Show details ·  1

Dazzling Dishwasher – I really cannot fault this stainless steel dishwasher at all. The unit cleans well, dries well, and is pretty quiet to operate. We maintain the inside at least once a week by giving the unit a bit of a clean and find that we don't really need to do anything else at all. Poor excuse for a dishwasher – This dishwasher is only capable of washing mugs, glasses and lightly soiled dinner plates. It can't handle anything with baked on food, you need to rinse your dishes almost clean before putting them in this dishwasher (seems counter productive). to say about this dishwasher, it's all negative. It is cheaply built, the door feels flimsy and doesn't close properly, the kick panel is flimsy, the orientation of how you stack your plates in the lower rack means you can only have relatively small plates and bowls otherwise they don't fit next to each other. The layout of the upper rack isn't very practical and means trying to keep your glasses from toppling is near impossible. It doesn't dry very well and it uses way more rinse aid than it should. Like I said, it's all negative.

Never known a dishwasher to rust!! – The amount of rust present in the dishwasher racks is disgusting. I would have thought these units wouldnt rust or that technika could give a valid reason for rusting to have occurred. It's all BAD – don't waste your time, it does not wash properly, its flimsy and I would have to say its the worst product on the market. it also does not fit the dishes in, yes that's correct, my dinner plates don't fit. its noise, and you need to open the dishwasher for the dishes to dry! which mean, I always need to be home when they are being washed. cant wait to get rid of it, if anyone wants it for FREE im happy to donate mine.

Quiet. Efficient. Reliable – Dishes come out sparkling clean and dry on the heavy cycle using cheap dishwashing tablets this is without pre rinsing the plates first. No issues so far and it seems quiet when in use ( just at start up can hear it slightly) Easy to install and control panel is self explanatory that i don’t need to learn any icons as all labelled clearly. Happy with this purchase hopefully lasts for years to come.

First time user and impressed!! – I have never owned a dishwasher and it cleans brilliantly that all i need to do is open it after the wash to find dishes are all dry and just need to be put away. Saves me a lot of time and water instead of hand washing. Perfect Unit and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Very happy and would recommend to others.  Show reply

Complements my other Technika appliances - Great! – Purchased as a part of a renovation in 2015. Easily labelled control panel so simple to identify which cycle to use. Heavy cycle seems lengthy but dishes always come out sparkling clean and dry. Top spray arm did hit my bigger plates i called the service department and they explained top basket was adjustable so added feature I didn’t know existed. Happy it hasn’t skipped a beat. Quiet when in use i forget its even on.

problems draining perfectly . I checked were the drain hose connects onto the the water trap of the sink , there is a barb fitted to the side of the trap for the dishwasher hose to connect to . The installer is supposed to drill it out with a 12 millimeter drill bit if it is going to be used for a dishwasher , our plumber used a 6 millimeter drill bit . Which eventually blocked up with food scraps and crud . I drilled it out properly and the unit works great now , Hope this might help

Doesn't wash, flimsy – Does not wash properly, looks cheap, small and very flimsy. Not happy, paid alot of money for this dishwasher as we just built our first home... Water pools in the bottom of the dishwasher, therefore not even cleaning it properly. Do not recommend, can buy alot better for a cheaper price

It's Great If You Like Crud On Stuff – The dishes are never dry at the end of the cycle. Sometimes the cycle doesn't end, despite the fact that it's only ever been set to 'Normal'. be heard throughout the house when it's on so it's not a good idea to "wash" the dishes before bed.

Didn't get to 2 years – This is a great dishwasher for washing. We have had others that don't wash as well as this one did. It came with the house and it matches the Oven (a piece of crap) and the hotplates. All those people who say they can't fit big plates in it have not read the hand book. that, the quality is not there. The roller wheels are always falling off, the bottom tray comes out of its rails plus it feels flimsy. In our case, after 20 months, the heater stopped working. I actually wonder if it ever worked properly because our dishes were never dry. Always have to hand dry them as we unloaded it. So when the heater stopped working, the dishes would be dripping with water at the end of the cycle plus, it was washing everything in cold water, so could not strip grease. But I have given three stars for its performance after 20 months.

would eventually start to wash properly. Dishes were always clean. Most frustrating thing was bottom draw would pull out the seal on the way back in; the drawers don't track well, sometimes coming off the rails all together. Considering the reviews below we got very good service out of it.

rubbish – After three replacements it's getting kicked to the curb. It was part of our build. First one never worked. Second had 5 call outs then the replaced. The third one, only had a month and a half, broken again. This is a time frame of 1 yr. Never ever buying technika again. Beware, if you want a dust collector then this is the machine but if you want it to wash, wrong choice.

Average – The dishwasher was included as part of our house build (looking at other reviews, it would appear this is a common model) for the first 3 months the dishwasher washed well. Now (4.5 months), even after proper cleans, it fails to wash several items every wash. I dare say we will be replacing this in the coming months.

Quite ordinary – We have used many different dishwashers in our married life of 50 years and this machine was part of our recent new house building....would consider it one of the worse machines we have ever owned... it has a small capacity , leaves plates etc still wet and does not clean others very well .

dishwasher technika TBD4SS-4 – this was part of our internal upgrade pack when we built with metricon, we have been in our new home now 5wks and so far it has done a great job, i did get told they dont last to long mayb a couple of years but at this stage no complaints from us, love how you can do a half wash. its fairly quiet too.

Doesn't wash properly – This machine doesn't wash properly. No matter what you do; clean the filters, pack different ways, use long cycle etc. A good percentage of the dishes are still dirty at the end of the wash. I am back to handwashing. Wouldn't buy again.

Doesnt wash properly – Inherited this with the new house. Food or crumbs always in glasses and cups after washing. Doesn't seem to matter which cycle or how you load it. Very difficult to load on the bottom rack as well, fits little in properly. Have cleaned filters, loaded less in, tried stronger cycles, still can't get it to wash properly.

Dissappointed – I received a Technika Dishwasher as part of a new house, The machine has broken down four times in 6 months. Stay away from this brand!!!. Customer service is adequate, although they do not acknowledge issues with machine. Stove cook top not much better. best to go for known brands. Frequent breaks

Poor Quality – We were unlucky enough to move into a rental with one of these. It's really cheap and the bottom runner can't support even a half full load and slips off, jamming the washing mechanism and leaving the dishes unwashed. Message to any landlords out there, buy quality appliances and you'll have happy tenants. Buy this dishwasher and you won't. Cheap feel, poor quality, racks bend easily

6 Technician call outs in the first 9 months – We built with Simonds in 2013, since then all we have had is issues with this machine. This machine is horrible. We have had issues with hoses, loud noises and the rinse aide leaking. I would urge you not to buy a technika product as it is just plastic and won't last very long. We are now becoming increasingly concerned that as soon as the machine comes out of warranty it will have another issue with it.

Pot/Scrub mode and getting better results but still not as good as any dishwasher I have used in the past. The top shelf looks like it is about to come off its runner and the bottom shelf seems unbalanced on its tracks and is hard to easily pop things onto without it becoming misaligned. Sometimes I am unable to close the door as the mechanism jams and I have to use a knife to fix it regularly. The dishwasher came with our house which we built approximately five months ago. So totally disappointed in this machine that I felt compelled to write this. Inexpensive. Seems like very poor quality, poor design, plasticky, does not clean dishes well, noisy wash cycles, beeping drives me mad!

Bad warranty service on cheap / nasty dishwasher – Dishwasher came with our new house... it is cheap and nasty. Broke within first 12 months, unable to get any satisfaction from Technika in regards to warranty. Had to get the builder to contact Technika to get them to come out and service it as the staff at Technika kept giving me the run around. Noisy, broken, cheap and nasty. Months and several phone called before Technika would come and repair it.

Never again! – Not the best or the worst I've had - for the first year or so only. Since then I've found it better to wash by hand unless packing dishes with a space in between. As to glasses or cutlery - forget it! And now there are no parts to fix now it leaks every where. and the top shelf is breaking up from using hot water!!!!! NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!!! Terrible – Sure this dishwasher may be cheap but the fact that it doesnt fit dishes makes it pretty annoying. Overall though it does wash dishes well if you only put in small items. the dishes will not come out clean. When you have to wash your plates separately its hardly worth putting a load in the dishwasher. How hard is it to design a dishwasher with room for dishes!!

Terrible – need to buy another one any suggestions to brands need to do my homework as do not want to keep washing dishes Abosulety nothing still have dirty dishes brought it with the house and will now need to replace it as if i wanted to wash dishes by hand then I would have done this and not had a dishwasher ,sounds like a jumbo jet is about to take of and dishes go in one way and come out the same way not happy Jan

Good – Comparing to the Bosch in my mother's house, it does an equivalent job at a third of the price. The key is to load the machine properly and to clean out the filters as per the manufacturer's recommendation. Works for awhile – For my first dishwasher to start with this was fantastic and I could barley fault. However two years later and I now can only really use is for washing crockery. It leaves marks all over glasses, struggles to clean cutlery and most of the time I have to re wash my dishes. I have changed and cleaned the filters, cleaned the dishwasher inside out. I have even had a service man look at it, his response was to replace it!! Cheap Crap quality
