Dishwasher – We have a Bellissimo Techniko dishwasher in the house we bought . Its a piece of rubbish Doesnt clean properly, smells after 2 cycles I would not recommend this product
Does the job for us – This dishwasher came with our new home. We knew what we were getting and decided it would do until it dies and then replace it with a "quality" machine. We always rinse clean our dishes so the use of the machine is more for a final clean/sanitation process. This allows us to have clean dishes but using a slightly faster cycle. So this machine has a pretty easy life at our house and it works well for our purpose when using the 90 minute cycle. It's pretty quiet, easy to operate once you get familiar with it and hasn't had any operational issues in almost 2 years. Unfortunately after about 12 months the racks started to show signs of rusting. Not so much the outer frame but more the upright 'fingers' that help to space the dishes out which caused the effected ones to bend over or fall off completely. We did however have a Tecknika rep contact and resolve the issue by replacing the racks for us since the machine was still within the warranty period which we were very pleased about of course. The new racks will see us past the warranty period now so I doubt Tecknika will be replacing the racks again should the same problem arise. We're not dish washing machine experts so we're not sure if this is a common problem with all wire racks but it's the first time we've experienced it. Apart from this issue the machine has functioned well and without any other issues. After reading many reviews on many different brands of machines, expensive and budget, it seems there's always the chance you'll have issues. So long as the product functions as promoted the next most important thing for us is the customer care side of the equation and during this experience with Tecknika we're more than satisfied.

This is a follow up on my previous post. It's been almost 2 years since we received out replacement racks and they're showing no signs of the rusting issues we had with the original racks. Also the machine is still running fine bearing in mind that we only ever need to use the 90 minute cycle and we choose to quickly pre rinse/wash our items before we put them in the machine. We find this gets the best results, is more economical and eliminates the cause of the "old food smell". Still happy with the product :)

Hi there. We've just noticed some rusting on a few areas of the racks again. Nothing too serious at the moment and it's not affecting the holding of items but we're wondering if it's possible to purchase new racks from you should the need arise since the machine itself still works fine. Regards Mal

Modern Quick Dry Dishwasher – The photo is just a quick snapshot of the product. In reality it's bigger and looks better. Reasons why I rate this product high: 1. Durability - been using this nearly daily for the past 1 year and a half. 2. Capacity - suitable for a bunch of large plates, bowls, glasses, cups, mugs. I don't use this for pans since it occupies much space. If only this dishwasher offers bigger space however this model is perfect for my needs. 3. Style - Silver, elegant looking. Mine just need a few wiping and it will look as good as new. 4. Cost - worth every penny of it. 5. Efficiency - Normally use the 90 mins settings with full capacity (stuffed with all sorts of utensils and plates). Quick to dry and clean, saves electricity. 6. Noise - Quiet. You can only hear the sound when it's rinsing and if you get close to the washer. 7. Maintenance - Place a dishwasher cleaner and you're good to go. Haven't taken into account the water consumption for this dishwasher.

Poor excuse for a dishwasher – This dishwasher is only capable of washing mugs, glasses and lightly soiled dinner plates. It can't handle anything with baked on food, you need to rinse your dishes almost clean before putting them in this dishwasher (seems counter productive). I've tried all the settings but it doesn't make a noticeable difference. I don't have anything positive to say about this dishwasher, it's all negative. It is cheaply built, the door feels flimsy and doesn't close properly, the kick panel is flimsy, the orientation of how you stack your plates in the lower rack means you can only have relatively small plates and bowls otherwise they don't fit next to each other. The layout of the upper rack isn't very practical and means trying to keep your glasses from toppling is near impossible. It doesn't dry very well and it uses way more rinse aid than it should. Like I said, it's all negative.
