because one of my rings wasn’t working. The lady I spoke to Anastasia was the rudest most condescending person I’ve ever dealt with on the phone. She basically told me I was stupid because she had to repeat something that she she didn’t have to repeat to other customers. As someone who’s worked in call centres and dealt with consumers face to face this girl has no idea how to do her job. She was on the defence as soon as I called and I wasn’t even being demanding. I had an issue I needed to be fixed and I wasn’t fussed either way just needed it to be fixed.
Shame you can't give 0 stars – We have the exact same digital issue where the oven flicks through it's settings by itself once it warms up. Setting the timers, venting the heat, turning options on and off. Flicking through settings and beeping near continuously as it does this. alters cook times as the temperature changes with continuous the on/ off and heat venting. It spoils food and wastes power. Technical support were polite but supremely unhelpful. Considering this is a complete failure to operate in the way intended and a safety issue their worthless warranty is meaningless as there are protections under Australian consumer law. But they couldn't care less. It's a very expensive oven. Has anyone successfully repaired this problem? How?

So sick of it – This oven was in our house when we purchased it. It was brand new, and now is less than 3 years old. From the onset we had issues. Worst Oven Ever – Don't buy this oven for your tenants because you think its cheap. and told us all about how fulfilled his life is fixing Technika ovens installed by stupid miser investors and property developers.
The owner decided to replace it like-for-like despite our feedback. The new oven cooks ok, but the controller goes nuts whenever the oven is use. Beeping to say its working, beeping to say its up to temperature, setting the timer by itself and then beeping when the time runs out (???). Putting the timer on auto so you can't turn on the damned thing. Then when you finish cooking and turn the oven off it beeps to say it's cooling down every minute or so. Rang Technika and they said the beeping is normal and it's just letting you know what it's doing - I asked if it means I should do something and they said "No". I asked if it's safe to just cut the power to the thing at the wall to shut-it-up and they said "Yes, No problem.". So why are you beeping at me. What clowns design these appliances? One star is one star too many.
Buyer beware - cheap and nasty!!! – Absolutely no customer support at all... CHEAP AND NASTY!!! When it comes to buying a new stove or oven, you don't want to buy a Technika... They are honestly the bottom of the barrel when it comes to stoves or ovens... Our TEG95DUA is brand new and is blowing a flame so high it could set the ceiling on fire... the cooking is not even you have to keep shuffling food in between levels up to here it’s sort of ok.
The issue is the display/timer has a mind of its own. It starts flicking and beeping through the options by itself most of the time turning off the oven. So whenever we decide to use the oven someone has to guard the oven until the cooking is finished and even after you have turned off the beeping will continue for a while so then shut down from the PowerPoint
Would I recommend ABSOLUTELY NO.
Have called technical support....just waiting
