A great machine – I bought this machine new and it's now over 10 years old. It's my first front loader and I bought it when the government was giving rebates for water saving machines, The only problem I've had is that, about 18 months ago, the electronics went a bit crazy - the display started flashing and the cycle wasn't aligning properly with what was on the… Read more ·  1

dial, so it was pot luck with the cycle it was actually on but it still washed. About a month ago, this problem corrected itself and it's now working perfectly again. I'm very happy with the life I've got from this machine. It is reasonably quiet and washes well, as long as you don't overfill it,

Excellent machine – Have had it for 5 years now. Never had any problem. I'm really surprised to see other people's bad reviews. I think its great. I guess if you take care of it and read the manual there is no reason for this machine to fail. In all the years I've had it, not a single problem. Looks good, reliable, features, gets the job done.  Show reply

Excellent – I hasve had one of these machines for over 18 months now and it has to be the best front loader I have ever used - leaves Kleenamid for dead! Gentle on clothes and decent rpm for spin

get what you pay for – I have had nothing go wrong with this product and have found that it suits my needs. This is my first front loader and has taken some adjusting but have found it to be a reliable product. Reliable, easy to use, Rubber door seal holds alot of dirt and requires constant cleaning to stop marks appearing on clothes

Terrible – Don’t waste your time with this pile of junk. It will break your heart and leave you feeling bitter and disappointed! Walk past everything with this brand name! Lemon alert! Nothing - a fatal mistake to buy! Breaks down regularly. Service is extremely slow and parts are rarely available. Even the technicians who do eventually come to fix the machine comment on how many of these they have to service.

Terrible – Apart from all the replacements listed, the door switch has also been a problem and now 2 years down the track the machine has stopped again. I don't think I will be considering a Technika appliance again. Looks good & has a 1200 rpm speed Constantly breaking down, replace motor @ 12 months, replaced detergent feeder hose @ 18 months, replaced drum bearings @ 20 months, replace electronic board @ 21 nonths

Bad – It died for the 2nd time after 5 years. I think it is the motor and when it broke down, the power got tripped. We are happy that it died because we can get a new one that works properly. Bought Technika without knowing the brand any better but because it was on sale, it was sturdy and looked good. Should have got the Bosch that was 6.5kg, 800… Read more

spin for the same price. A lot of nice functions. Clothes are clean. Good looks. Too many to name but here are some:

- Destroys clothes if you don't put lotsa softener.

- Runs too hot that it destroys clothes so we only use cold water inlet.

- Door becomes loose.

- Broke on 2nd year but luckily had 3 years warranty.

- Electronics are slow to react. eg. cancelling a wash program takes like 5mins.

- Noisy during spin cycle.

Terrible – Not worth the stress and money, comes with awesome features, but also comes with a ridiculis price tag for a piece of crap that breaks down far to often Fast Spinning Speed, Has a vast range of cycles. I Have owned the machine for 2 years, during this period, i've had to have 2 replacements and a new motherboard at a cost of $280, 4 days after warranty ran out.
