I'm so disappointed in this Smart Cooker, it's anything but Smart. The first time I used it on low for slow cooking after 8 hrs I had to then finish the meal on pressure to fully cook it. I asked a question on a Forum as to the "Heating up light" never changed from heating up, I was told this is normal on low slow cooking. Today I used it again… Read more

on slow cooking low, it was on for 8 hours and most of it was not cooked. I tried to use the pressure cooking however again it would not change from Heating up and the steam was coming out of the small heat, there was NO build up of pressure in the unit, so after over 9.5 hours of total cooking time, this meal was only just edible, the veggies were still crunchy. I am so disappointed I will be returning it to the store of purchase and do NOT want a replacement unit.

The cooker was purchased on 19 May 2025. It has an issue where the inside of the lid has a locking nut come loose and fell off. If there are other parts with the same issue I do not yet know. Luckily this one at least did not stay on the cooker food and end up consumed!! The cooker itself with regards to cooking appears to be pretty good so far.… Read more

Many functions including, steam, pressure and others. I contacted Tefal via messenger on 25 May, they asked I email the pictiures and info to them which I did on the same day. Not heard anything since. We have yet to use all functions to review.

I use it everyday:D – I bought this product because it was on a discount at the good guys. And I am happy with the purchase :D This is my first pressure cooker purchased and it was much safer to handle than I imagined. It comes with the slow cooking function as well :D I found the sauce thickening menu is very convenient to use after pressure cooking. The cooker makes… Read more ·  3

cooking easier because you don’t need to keep stirring. It won’t be burnt or over boiled. It saves time as well. And the results are great:D tender meat and vegetables. No under cooked hard bits. It uses less water for cooking so less sauce or stock needed.

•Brown rice was cooked nicely with the cooker.

•Bolognese sauce too, all the chewy fat in mince was melted.

• Last time when I made rissoles with the cooker I used these different functions: sauté, pressure cooking then sauce thickening. No frypan or oven needed, so kitchen was kept very clean while cooking . My husband liked the soft and juicy rissoles.

Terrible cooker! – Terrible cooker!! Takes FOREVER to reach pressure. Slow cooker isn't too bad but definitely not great. I had a Morphy Richards prior to this and it was fantastic, this cooker doesn't even come close! This is the worst appliance I own!

Good, but – Got this one form catch of the day, after my old tefal pressure cooker went dead.9 years of use anyway.Saw this model as the least expensive I can afford. This unit can do lots of different programs of cooking, but at the moment we only use it for pressure cooking beef and pork.Love the information about the progress of cooking.Don't like the plastic… Read more

lid,old ones are better.also don't like the release button for the pressure, you have to hold onto the button to release, which for me is a hazard.

And when u go to they website they can repair it for you but u need to pay. So that mean every +1,5 year i need to fix and pay again! I thought for the money spent that this would be a great product & quality .. just beyond disappointed... Show details

Disappointed – I’ve used this several times and no matter which function I use I am disappointed with the results. For instance I used it for a rice dish which included carrots etc on slow cook and the carrots were raw. Show details

Love the pressure but slow to heat up – Prior to buying this multifunction cooker I would never cook beef or lamb casseroles as took 8 hrs in slow cooker. The pressure cooker function on this machine cooked beef or lamb so tender in 30 minutes. However... to use the saute function to brown the meat takes at least ten minutes to heat up. I leave it at 2mins cooking time so by the time… Read more

the timer starts it is basically already browned. Same with the pressure cooker - takes forever to heat up before it actually starts pressure cooking - about 20mins. So about an hour and a half all up for a casserole but then the meat is so tender. Was happy with my cooker despite the long heating up times until the pressure cooker function stopped working. I had it less than 6mths and probably cooked a dozen meals when it stopped building up pressure. The lid didn't seem to lock. Tefal customer service was excellent and replaced it with a new one straight away. I would rather know what went wrong though as it might have been something minor and I'm worried the new one will do the same thing in a few months time.
