Worst appliance ever – It eas either too cold or too hot & burning everything. Worst thermostat I have ever had on a frypan. I had to turn the power off all the time to cool it down. Show details
Burnt – Yes I agree , my food was burnt when I selected deep fry. I will use it again tonight, trying a lower temperature as was suggested. But I think to do fry chicken, the temperature should be 180 deg C. So I'm not sure how using a lower temperature will pan out. I'm not as upset as this was a birthday gift Show details
Not what it said – Waste of money Not what it said tempriture is no good for deep frying When I checked it with temperatures gauge was lucky to hit 145 deg Looks good but just ok to cook a stew If you want to deep fry don’t buy one For me it was a waste of $100 Show details
a great little benchtop workhorse – I cook a lot. I have a big gas stove, it has a wok burner, 3 others and a fish burner in the middle. i use this little machine about once a week. i like it because it can do deep frying easily in reasonable size batches, I also use it often to sous vide. It's also good to braise, fry for a curry or stew and and then happily simmers away as i… Read more
move through the cooking process. I don't have a slow cooker and i don't want/need one. The metal "dish" in this cooker is non stick + light weight, and along with the fry basket and lid all go in the dishwasher. As someone who cooks everyday, every meal, and entertains A LOT, I find this to be a really good addition to my kitchen. I also have a stand alone induction cooktop. it's tiny and super efficient. If i had to choose, I'd take the induction because it takes all of my pots. But for me there's no denying that this appliance is efficient.
Total rubbish waste of money – burns the bottom no heat at the top, it was on a shelf as an Air Fryer, which it is clearly not. The manual is one step off of useless, it base is easy to clean but the lid is impossible to keep clean , this is one item that is getting returned or sent to the dump Show details
Bought to replace my deep fryer – I found it easy to use. It's older model so I was lucky to find it cheaply. It works much the same as an electric fry pan but with higher sides. So yes you can cook a range if temperatures. It also heats up like an electric fry pan which is why it will get hot and bubble or boil then cut out when the thermostat reaches temperature. I've cooked… Read more · 3
lasagne direct in it with more liquid on the bottom to compensate for the thermometer cut ins. I've cooked risotto and roast veggies as well as deep frying and cooking gnocchi. It's easy to clean. I would find this convenient to take in a caravan or camping. I like that I can use less oil deep frying in this one than what I used in the last one yet still get enough chips made for the whole family. I paid 98 on sale as it's now discontinued. I would not want to pay more because it is just plastic with no special electronic/digital settings and ordinary electric fry pans are similar price. But it does what it says and the recipes that come with it are nice. I've tried a few.
Very disappointing product – I was excited by the versatility offered by this machine, however due to the fact that it just switches itself off during cooking, allowing the food to cool down too much, I now prefer to use my normal frying pan. The other problem I'm experiencing is how uneven the cooking surface is. Very expensive, useless product in my opinion! Unfortunately,… Read more
I purchased it about a month ago and initially thought it was something I was doing wrong so I kept giving it another chance, to no avail. I certainly wouldn't recommend this product to anyone!

Terrible – 7 months ago, I bought a Versalio Deluxe 9 in 1 - Multi Cooker. Because. 1. It is a good size. 2. I hoped it would be better quality than my old Sunbeam one, given the exorbitant price. 3. I expected the cooking surface would be more even, given the exorbitant price. 4. A variable temperature dial 5. A cooking guide on the dial 6. It's… Read more
good looking
7. A timer
What I got:
1. A good size
2. Surface that has started sticking in places, even though I am extremely careful to use the softest, best quality silicon spatula ONLY at ALL times.
3. A constantly uneven cooking surface with constant hotspots at whatever temperature.
4. Variable temperature that turns off sometimes for 5 minutes in the middle of cooking, so I have to either wait or risk burning what I am cooking by turning up the temperature a little so the switch light comes on again.
5. The guide on the dial is a liar, even simmer gets too hot, or too cold.
6. The lid turned browney cream inside and around the outside edges, and will NOT clean back to white. So it is not good looking any more.
7. The timer works. But only as an alarm. A better design would be if it turned the cooker off.
So I am extremely UNhappy with this equipment and I will be returning it.
It's a good concept, that was clearly cheaply made and sold at an exorbitant price.
The ombudsmen should be warned about this worldwide.

2 in 1 – My husband does most of the cooking in our home and wanted a multi cooker with deep fry capacity as well as slow cook options with removable basket. We found the Tefal multi cooker in Harris Scarfe catalogue and thought it ticked all the boxes. Bought it home today and tried to make a slow cook beef and red wine dish. The higher temp was great… Read more
for searing the meat to get it all started once wine and other vegetables were added turned it down to simmer control.. well it seems there are only two settings on this machine ... boil the crap out of everything or keep it warm!!! Very disappointed. Would take it back but hubby was a bit too enthusiastic to throw away the box! grr.. not happy now have an expensive chip pan plate warmer!
