Excellent Deep Fryer – Excellent deep fryer. My wife and I have used this deep fryer several times frying chicken and cooking chips since purchasing it and it does a excellent job. Heats excellently. I have even cooked steak and sausages in it as well. Highly recommended Show reply

very frustrating and disappointing – The heating stops after a few minutes - I have to switch the power off and on again every time I want to fry a batch of whatever it is I am frying. Even more frustrating is the fact that there seems to be no place on the internet (let alone the manual) that provides advice or even a reasoning for this to happen. I do not recommend this product. Try another product but do your research before purchasing. Show details

Perfect Chips – Now its been a very long time since I have had a deep fryer and wow missed the taste of a perfect chip! Air fryers are good but to enjoy traditional taste of deep fried chips is a blessing I saw this unit being sold in Harvey Norman the Tefal Versalio 7 In 1 Multi Fryer and had to get it - for 100 dollars and the design of the unit is amazing, it… Read more

is not the standard deep fryer, the tray comes out and you can cook more than just deep frying. This appealed to me, you can do bolognaise sauce, butter chicken and so on, it is versatile to what you can cook in it. Usually deep fryers have the element that heats the oil within the tray itself - this is designed way smarter.

I haven't cooked anything else yet in the deep fryer by Tefel, other than chips so far - only had it for a week and wow am impressed. The perfect chip, crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle - it is perfect - even distribution of heat and i cannot fault it - there is a timer function with an LCD screen if i was to be picky, to see the LCD screen located on the bottom of the unit it has no backlight also so that really is confusing and hard to use - but in regards to cooking its perfect - based on what i seen in heating up oil i can say cooking a pasta sauce and other stuff in it would be great also. It also has a temperature control - which is good, very wide basket so cooking chicken pieces or other types of deep fry will be easy

Do highly recommend the unit

Tefal Versallo multi cooker – Very dissatisfied. Cooks for four minutes out of every 10 minutes and switches itself off. Chucked it out. Don’t waste your money. Just switches on and off randomly. Mine is brand new Show details

Switches itself off all the time – There seems to be a problem with the thermostat as it is either off or boiling its head off for 5 minutes before turning itself off and not starting again Show details

Doesn't quite do as advertised which is disappointing – It will fry for me successfully most of the time, but like the other reviewer it will get up to temp the turn off for a while and the oil losses temp and doesn't fry properly sometimes. My other gripe is the keep warm setting (80c) is the opposite, it boils rapidly for about 5 minutes then turns off and cools down, then boils rapidly again... So… Read more

whilst just trying to keep a meal warm it boils it to death. Disappointed as I thought the versatility would be really useful, but if it can't simply hold a temperature then it's not really going to do as advertised.

Very bad experience – I am a fan of Tefal brand but i got very disappointed with that fryer, it switches off soon after the oil getting hot which makes food very soggy. Really disapponted just wasted 100$ for that dryer it shouldn't be advertised as a Fryer i got it because it is advertised to deep fry with less oil but it is not frying at all Just waste of money  Show details
