This would have to be the most useless reward program I have ever had the misfortune to be involved with. I tried 4 times to redeem my points for a pair of earbuds and 4 times my order was canceled even though the product was still being advertised as available and after contacting the rewards centre they have done nothing but offer lip service to my order. I have since cancelled my phone account and moved it to someone else.
Telstra plus rewards is a total scam You have to spend $1000s of dollars to even get enough points to purchase anything For example you would have to spend roughly $10,000 dollars just to get 100,000 points to be able to buy anything worth it As rewards go this one has to be the most pathetic of them all Show details

Great experience – I ordered a phone cradle and it was delivered the next day. Amazing service, thank you. I wish all companies knew how to deliver stuff. Still waiting for things to be shipped from APC4WD and Drifta, even though I ordered many days before the phone cradle and paid much more for the items and postage. Telstra know how to get things delivered, and it's free :)

Terrible service- zero transparency- will dispute and take to ACCC – I’ve been on a chat with below team member for over an hour to try and redeem a GC. Team member decided to remove the chat. Lucky I screen shot it all and is still trying to connect and the message me won’t load. How convenient.
Complete lack of empathy or understanding – I purchased a product on the telstra plus store and although I am 99% sure I ordered a black coloured apple watch, I received a pink one. aren't, but I have been a loyal Telstra customer for over 10 years, with 6 phone numbers in my family, on fairly large plans, so the fact they had zero consideration or regard was a clear sign they didn't care about me as a customer. I spent two months going back and forth with them on live chat about this case, and each time, they refused to even consider the possibility of an exchange. Clearly I'm not worth anything to them.
Telstra rewards is a TOTAL SCAM, waste of time. FAULTY ITEMS. Unable to get exchange or refunds since SEPT – Scam - hard to collect point for exchange. When I finally got enough points, the Blue Ant Bluetooth earbuds were faulty. 1 piece did not work. Not good enough Telstra! How does one get a replacement for both items from Telstra?! How will Telstra compensate me for my lost time wasted chasing up on Telstra?!
Rubbish – The site doesn’t work. It promises you all these great rewards, try to redeem your points and it doesn’t work. Then it just refuses you entry into the website stating you don’t hold active services when I’ve spent over $3k on Telstra services in the last year. Pathetic.

Super fast delivery – Ordered an item from rewards store and had no problems during order process. The price was not the best but with rewards points item was quite cheap and some points were going to expire soon so decided to use them. before we got it as we are in Perth WA but it was delivered the next day (Tuesday) about lunchtime. Telstra kept us up to date with emails and texts to trace item and give approx time of delivery. Couldn't be happier with their service. Well done Telstra Plus.
Quick turnaround and couldn't be happier – Ordered a Xbox controller (this is the second time I have used points and bought something from them). Ordered on late Tuesday night and item arrived at my door by early Thursday arvo. Free postage and item packed well and arrived in excellent condition in sealed official box

issues to Telstra on May 21, 2025 and I'm sitting at May 27, 2025 - there's no email or SMS as to whose my Case Manager and they've mentioned that the case manager will contact me within 24 to 48 hours. Guess what - no one reached out to me yet.
I've been sitting with their chat and call support teams daily for more than 2 hours and over got a little kid, but this is how Australia's largest telecom operator works.
Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced—incompetent staff, false information, and no accountability. The orders they raised don’t even show up in the My Telstra app or via email. To make matters worse, they asked Belong to cancel my existing service, leaving me without internet.
If you're thinking of switching to Telstra—DON’T. I’m shocked at how disorganised and misleading this company has been. If anyone is feeling I'm making false accusations, I've got all authentic proofs of chats held with their customer service and how they lied, yes lied and what all happened during the process and how they're harassing a single father mentally.
It was just a simple transfer order from Belong to Telstra and it's been 14 days and it's still pending. Furthermore, my residence already had NBN connection.

There is no option on the next payment screen dor discounted Telstra plus tickets or an option to use Telstra plus points. So what has happened to Telstra customers ability to purchase discounted movie tickets. I have contacted Telstra and they advise they are still looking into it. This has been ongoing for sometime. Each time contact is made I am told that it is still in progress. I have now contacted Event but no response sas yet. I should add that at the beginning of last year the Telstra ticket option was available, so what has happened to it?

raised 5 months ago and the case manager (with no name) checks in every 2 weeks to let me know they still have an issue, even at one stage blamed Amazon and I should contact them, which I did, and Amazon were quick to note that they have the problem of gift cards already redeemed quite often with Telstra. So end of the day, Consumer is not getting what they've been promised and bs excuse every 2 weeks.

they'd send to another team and I might hear from them after 48 hours. Not much use when I'm trying to book a ticket for that day... I then got spontaneously logged out and kicked out of the conversation before I could add contact details (why they had to request that when I'm logged on with the account linked to my mobile phone I have no idea - but I wasn't contacted by anyone).
Weirdly, the website was working fine the day before and only became spontaneously inaccessible on the one day of the week that gold class tickets are discounted - but one thing I've learned over two decades of dealing with Telstra, including five as a business customer, is that Hanlon's Razor probably applies whenever something goes absurdly wrong with their services.
Anyway, after recent arbitrary price increases and generally diminishing reliability/service quality, losing access to this simple benefit and the frustration of again dealing with was the final straw that sent me to another provider. It's only a ten dollar movie ticket discount, but it's a benefit I pay for and all the more reason for them to make good with a voucher or bill discount instead of just fobbing me off with a trite 'sorry about that (but it's not our problem)'.
Telstra Plus is a scam – Terrible service and looks like more a scam than anything else. Would be better for them to just not have this service. Would save everyone's time. Also, remember if you are to cancel any of their service, redeem the points prior to cancelling, otherwise they will be forfeit straight after cancelation.
Apparently unsolvable issue with my account when I want to redeem expiring points – Ordered one item since points getting close to expiry. Telstra Rewards Rip Off – Where is the no star option for rating my experience with telstra rewards. The site simply doesn't work and won't let you redeem anything. Gets to the checkout then fails with no explanation. No help anywhere.
Faulty product – The earbuds purchased were faulty and the chat bots, phone calls, promises about calling me and emails led nowhere over 6 weeks. They want me to pay to have them assessed. Out of warranty although I reported them as faulty within 3 weeks of receiving them after trying every remedy possible. 6 weeks waiting time for appointment at Telstra Store. Couldn’t submit a fault form as the item did not appear on their list. Customer Service appalling.
Telstra, will live without them – So when you act for another persons account they link you. But when you want to transfer or get a new service, these linked accounts have stopped me from cancelling my service, transferring my service and getting a new service. I cant get over the data theft and how its corrupted my telstra account that they try to send it to emails not even in my telstra app which is my account. Telstra Rewards No delivery – Item never arrived was marked delivered same date of purchase. Impossible since I live rural. No help from customer service. I paid part of cost for item. Telstra said too bad. Very poor service. I’m out! Not a care from them. Closed my case as they showed a courier delivery slip which wasn’t signed by me. My business if 1800 employees runs off Telstra. They now lose my business.
telstra rewards points – I think Telstra should put the value of rewards points on your phone bill account as a credit instead of it expiring after so many day because they dam well make millions frme there customers as it and they can well afford it instead of ripping people off
MAKE SURE YOUR ACCOUNT IS 100% SETUP – I came here as like many I couldn't get the online rewards to work. I downloaded the app, setup my account in full, verified my email, phone number, set an address and then the checkout button worked instantly. Hope this helps
