Very impressed with quality & Service "Warm Grey Imogen Upholstered Bed with USB" from Temple & Webster – I ordered the Warm Grey Imogen Upholstered Bed with USBbed and mattress and was most impressed with the quality of both. The bed was very easy to assemble on your own. It looks sturdy and very comfortable. Very happy with the mattress also. Due to Covid the bed took a while to arrive approx 3wks. However, Jacqueline from T&W Customer Service was extremely helpful and tracked my order keeping me informed of its progress. Thank you for the wonderful service and will be recommended this site and will use it again.

Purchased in for $249.

Abysmal quality – This bed frame was pretty painful to assemble; very tight awkward joins to screw together. Then a leg fell off within weeks of purchase - it was dodgy when we assembled it and gave us a lot of trouble. T&W sent a replacement so we had to disassemble and re-assemble the whole thing and the same leg was wobbly on the second bed right out of the box. That leg fell off a couple of weeks later. We are now requesting a refund. Do not buy this bed frame.

Purchased in at Temple & Webster for $250.

Hi Levi We finally did get a refund on this item. I asked for a refund and for the item to be removed in December so it took about a month to be sorted. It is really very inconvenient to get rid of a full-sized bed, let alone the time and effort I have now wasted assembling and disassembling 2 beds plus the third replacement bed and carting all the bits up and down stairs. After all that, does T&W offer me some compensation for all the hassle and inconvenience? No! They make it as hard and protracted as possible to return the thing. Every time I contacted T&W someone was going to get back to me in 24-48 hours. No one was ever prepared to do anything to just sort the problem out. I think I ended up having about 6 contacts to resolve this. I was repeatedly told they had to contact the supplier for instructions. I only got the refund when I pointed out that my contract is with T&W and not the supplier and I couldn't care less what the supplier wanted to do. I asked that T&W collect the item and had so much trouble getting that done. I was originally told it could be collected on 7 January but the call centre tried so hard to avoid collection at all that it took until 20th. I had already disposed of one of these rubbish beds and I wasn't getting rid of the second one. If T&W chooses to sell landfill right out of the box, T&W can foot the disposal bill. I spoke to people at T&W who agreed to arrange collection, then sent me an email some time later saying, don't worry about collection, the supplier doesn't want it back, you can just dispose of it yourself (!) This occurred several times. I then had to start all over again each time. The call centre people suggested that my local council collection was free and I could do that. Thanks for the advice, but your trash, your problem. T&W also tried to tell me that I need the original box (!) or to provide a replacement box as the courier wouldn't collect it unless it was packed in the original box. I explained I was fresh out of 2M long boxes. Who keeps a 2M box?? What a stupid requirement - clearly designed to put people off returning items. I put the small pieces of the bed into the box from the replacement bed - bought from a local manufacturer and much better quality for the same price - but the longer pieces wouldn't fit, so I just taped them together. The courier had no issue taking the 2 pieces. One of the people I dealt with also asked me if a toddler had been jumping on the bed; clearly trying to shift responsiblity to me. I don't have any toddlers and no one has been jumping on the bed, but I would expect any bed to stand up to a toddler bouncing on it. I think that's just normal use, if you have a little child. Junk furniture like this that lasts five minutes and becomes landfill is an environmental catastrophe and T&W should be ashamed to be selling it.
