Don’t buy this – Purchased this products from tk.max, straight after I put it on my hair it burnt like really bad, the back of my neck was stinging I really wouldn’t recommend this product your better off buying the L’Oréal glycolic gloss less work and won’t damage hair Show details

So far so good, decent treatment on the cheap – Ok, lots of shocking reviews against this product and one in favour, so I thought, what the heck, live dangerously :) I have very fine wavy hair that frizzes in a warm breeze, and I live in the Tropics, so not alot to lose. I followed the directions exactly, and it was fine. Yes the product is a little smelly, but I'd be suspicious if it… Read more

wasn't. I've used home colour, and back in the 80s had several perms, and neither the smell nor the sting of this stuff was even close the those treatments. After the final rinse the smell is mostly gone. It's only day 1, but my hair feels soft and it is definitely straighter and smoother. I only used about half the bottle, and at this stage I'd use it again, it works well and was cheap.

So much hope, so utterly underwhelmed. Waste of money (and shower water since you’re always rinsing) – I have just used the smoothing and shine system and it does stink as well as having left my long hair mattered. I have now just rinsed out the finishing mask and I’m dreading how bad it will be once dried. Show details

Very good value – This product has received some really negative reviews and I feel the need to defend it. Just so we're clear, I'm not a hairdresser and I don't work for this brand. But I have had a lot of expensive salon professional keratin treatments over the years, and found this product to be a great alternative. I think most of the people reviewing this… Read more

product may not have had a salon keratin treatment before and didn't know what to expect. Before using it, I recommend looking up YouTube for an instructional video so you know how to properly apply a keratin treatment. The instructions clearly say to apply the product through the lengths of hair in sections, starting 1cm from the scalp. It's not supposed to sit on your scalp or the skin of your neck for the 40 minutes you're meant to leave it in. If you burned your skin on this product it's because you didn't follow the instructions. I used a comb to apply the product in small sections, 1cm from the scalp through to the ends. I think you would get even better results using an application brush, like you might use to apply hair dye.

Other people reviewing this product complained about the smell. Yes it's a very strong sweet smell. The same smell from salon keratin products. All I can say is that some salon treatments bake the product into your hair and ask you to not wash your hair for a minimum of 3 days. You definitely can't escape the smell for that amount of time. For this product, you only have to endure the smell for around an hour before you can wash it out again. It's really not that bad.

I have long hair and the last salon keratin treatment I had cost me $300. That was before the cost of living crisis, so goodness knows what it would cost now. I bought this product on sale for AUD$14 and only used about a third of the bottle for one treatment. Even at full price this product is very good value. Nothing will ever be as good as a salon experience, but after using this product my hair looked and felt healthy, strong and shiny. From a cost-benefit point of view this product wins. After my first use I went back to the supermarket to stock up.

Finally, if you decide to use this product or have any keratin treatment, make sure you only use a shampoo afterwards that doesn't contain SLSs. SLSs will strip the keratin and undo the benefit of the treatment way too quickly.

The product did nothing, a total waste of money – I have natural wavy hair that gets dry ends and frizz. I decided to buy this product in hopes it delivered what the package said and because it was on a half-price special. I had little hope of a complete straightening like a hair straightener gives me or the picture shows, but I was hoping for some reduction. But no! Nothing! Zero difference in… Read more

my hair at all in waviness or frizz. This product is false advertising; don't waste your time and money on it.

Time consuming & makes your hair feel dirty… – I washed my hair with just shampoo as directed, towel dried & applied smoothing stuff. Combed & waited 40 minutes, blow dried (not completely as directed) washed it out with supplied shampoo thoroughly. Towel dried again & applied mask supplied. Waited 10 minutes then washed that out thoroughly. Towel dried then blow dried and my hair feels… Read more

horrible and was definitely not smooth. I now cant wait to wash my hair with my normal shampoo and conditioner tomorrow night. I feel this product was just a waste and am really disappointed after spending so much time on it.

The whole process probably took me 2 hours & my hair feels so horrible :(

Don’t let this turn you off all their products though! Their shower Jelly smells Devine!

The smell is unbearable – I ended up taking the product off after about 10 minutes because the smell made me want to throw up. Ended up putting half a bottle of conditioner and half a bottle of shampoo on my head and letting it sit for 2 hours then double washed my hair to try and calm the smell down Show details

My hair is not smooth and shiny – This treatment smells like perming solution and left my hair brittle, dry and tangled. My hair was not in bad condition before I used this product it was just dull and dry but my hair has been left porus and damaged. The tiny bottle of hair mask provided to use as the final step did not contain adequate product to cover my mid back length hair and I had to use another hair treatment to rehydrate my hair.
