The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn-to-Toddler Tub with Sling

A bit small – Have only used for newborn with the sling, but it was quite small both lengthwise and widthwise and the headrest was a lot harder than when they are resting on a terry towelling or mesh sling in the bath or laundry basin. Just enough room to dip a washcloth into the sides to wash bubs. Could not fit a cup if you wanted to use one to rinse off. It does use a lot less water than a laundry tub, however did not fit my laundry tub securely for some reason (place built 2009). I used it as a second place to bath my baby (poosplosions, etc.) upstairs in the bathtub but preferred the laundry sink downstairs. It may be better once they are sitting.

Not a bath. More a baby holder – We purchased this bath for our 6 week old son hoping that it would be easier to bathe him. It has failed miserably. The reason is that once we put our son it, there is no room to access the water. This is because the sling sits on top of the water, and the bath is very slim. If it had been made wider, it would have worked alot better as a bath. My son is only 5kgs, this bath does not suit him, and it would be worse for a toddler, even if it specifies that it is suitable from newborn to toddler.

I should have known this looking at the pictures, you can see that there is no room to scoop the water to bathe the baby once he is sitting on the sling. Such a poor product.

Baby loved it! – I bought this baby bath half price from Toys R Us for $20. I liked the idea of the sling however didn't actually use it. From the time I bought bub home he was comfortable in the bath without the sling. I find baby is secure in the tub and feels safe in the water when in the tub. Not sure how well it will work when bub is bigger (due to small size and it being designed for sitting only) but for the money the tub is worth the money even if I only use it for 3-6 months. My baby can support himself while in the bath and I can be more focused on cleaning. My baby loves his baths - only screams when it is time to get out. It is so comfortable my bub even likes sitting in it when there is no water. I love that he feels so secure that he can splash and play and enjoy his water time. Don't bother – I didn't like this bath & only used it once before throwing it out. The sling was too short & not easy to use. Then the bath itself has too many ergonomic bits so my baby couldn't lie in it properly. Luckily I bought this at half price cause I would be upset paying full price.
