Reliable and proficient! – Called upon Leo and Fento to help with my three bedroom home. Was a fair distance, being an hour between houses. Was on time and went above and beyond. Happy, reliable and proficient in their profession.

Took my money and didn't complete the move – I used this company to move interstate. I would not recommend anyone use this company, they took over $6000 of my money and never completed the move. Just a bunch of scammers. Had to get another company to finish the move. They would not refund any of my money. Extremely disappointed. Under quite to get the job, didn't complete the job.

Was booked to use them, but after reading reviews I went elsewhere – I had booked my move with Master Movers after reading good reviews and having had good communication with the owner Paul. collection my furniture. I was told between 9-5pm. I said they would need to be a little more specific as i needed to book the lift in my building, plus i had flights booked on the day and needed to know if needed to change the time. No dramas if I did, I just needed to know. Between 9-5pm is all the girl would tell me. I asked her why I was dealing with The Moving Group and not Master Movers who I had originally booked. She said Master Movers is a booking agent and they had passed the job onto them. My bad I suppose, after reading the Master Movers website in greater detail, I did see this.

Either way, i typed into Google "The Moving Group reviews" and came across this site and after looking at their reviews, was terrified. That day was spent stressing over what to do. I had 2 days before I was moving from QLD to VIC and doubted if i could organise transport in time.

The next day i rang around and got in contact with Faulkner Removals. I told the owner Eric, my story and he was able to match the price I had. He told me he would be there on Monday morning at 9am and the stuff would be delivered by Thursday at lunch time.

Faulkner Removals were perfect. I would give them 10 out of 5 stars!!! They arrived on time and it took them an hour to pack up 2 apartments into the container. They treated everything with care and were very polite and helpful. When I arrived in Melbourne on the Monday afternoon I had an email from them stating everything was on the way. On the Wednesday, I got a phone call saying they would be there at 12 on Thursday to deliver. They arrived on time once again and took just over an hour to take our furniture to two apartments on levels 20 and 29.

I cant praise Faulkner Removals enough. They were perfect. Nothing was broken and they did EXACTLY what they said they would!.

The Moving Group couldnt give me three simple things. 1: a pick up time 2: a delivery date and 3: peace of mind.

In my opinion if it feels wrong, go somewhere else. I did and im very happy about doing so. nothing everything

Decent Service – The Moving Group did a decent job for me. They delivered most of my items much faster than expected. Nothing was broken or stolen so that is always a good sign. The prices were average and reasonable for what I had expected to pay. I recommend using this excellent service.

Shabby shop – TMG, a mob of lazy blokes who's only interests lie in overcharging and disrupting the lives of unsuspecting employees. Go else where, pay more, but at least you might actually get your items delivered in one piece.

Do Not Use This Company! – I wish I had read the reviews below before booking with TMG. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with! My move interstate was a nightmare! when your furniture is on the truck. They mislead you to get your business and once you pay the deposit they want nothing to do with you and ask you to contact the contractors who don't answer there phones.

Something that was a simple move has caused us a lot of stress and additional costs. The staff are rude and don't return phone calls or emails. I can't stress enough to not use this company!

after i explained the goods were valuable and that i would wrap them myself they told me that they would not need to be wrapped as they new what they were doing as they spoke down to me as i was dirt.

Nearly everything that i asked them to be careful with was damaged very damaged... I called them so many times to find out what was going on and they gave me the run around.

Finally a guy called me at 6am one morning telling me he was a insurance guy. I sent him all the details including all the photos that i took during the unload and. Even the guys that unloaded at this end could not believe how poorly they loaded up the truck and advised me to take the photos....!!!

Says a lot for this company.

He told me it was my fault for not taking out the insurance they advised me against by the way. He told me not to pursue the claim that i had no chance and that he will pursue a pay out for me.

Needless to say i have never heard from him againhis name is paul and i think he is an employee of this company even though he said he is from gapclaims. Could not find any info about this company.

Very shady

Poor service – Was given a quote for $1550 to transport a new kitchen after I sent a comprehensive list of measurements for each and every cabinet, bench top etc. After kitchen picked up they have told me that because all of the cupboards were not rectangular shape that I would have to pay an extra $1550 before they would release the kitchen. was tactless, blunt and very demanding.

Admitted that I had sent correct inventory but they had miscalculated the volume it would take up and that I had to pay up or they would keep the kitchen. Going to lodge formal complaint although it probably won't help so I either have to fork out the money or lose the kitchen I have paid thousands for, blackmail really and poor people skills from the staff member. Would never use them again. Nothing They were incompetent with calculating volume from inventory and due to their mistake they held my property ransom until I paid double the original written quote price.

Run for the hills! – [name removed] purposefully mislead me in order to gain my business. I was mucked around, abused by the Manager. I am now stuck paying 2 rents as I was so disgusted I demanded they unload the truck and rathered cop the $710 deposit fine than continue dealing with them further than my driveway. Angry doesn't cut it, and I am part way through lodging this through small claims court as I refuse to be bullied by a company. Chose someone else!

Do not use – Never in my life have I ever been subjected to such incompetence in so many levels. This business is possibly in violation of advertising that they are moving professionals. delivery of the wrong container with the conclusion being that our items had not actually been shipped but were on the floor in a different state.

Dave (the owner) will abuse you and physically threaten you if you complain. Moreover if you are not Australian he will use this as your excuse of holding an opinion.

My advise would be to not use this company for any shipping of your goods. Difficult to say.

Will not recommend unless you have read the fine prints clearly – They are a backloading company. Damien, the manager, said they operate like Webjet. If there are any issues, the client will have to deal with the contractor directly. Most likely, the contractor will tell you to talk to TMG. Obviously, I had some issues with the removalist and TMG washes their hands by telling me the fine prints. They only give out the name of the contractor after receiving your deposit. Bad service.
