The Plough And Harrow

Spoiler – We’ve been frequenting this pub for about 11 years, it used to be the best out of four pubs in the area. There is a large back room, a small centre room, and a small room at the front of the pub, which accommodates small and large groups, but, there is also a sports bar, that up until a few months ago had a wall to keep the noisy sports fans seperate from the main bars, where families often come for a meal. The wall has been taken down, which means now, the loud shouting and sometimes swearing when there has been a few drinks consumed and a group of people watching sports can be heard throughout the rest of the pub. It is a real spoiler when you sometimes just want a nice meal, which they provide, and a quiet drink. Wouldn’t recommend going there now. Built in the 18oo’s it is the oldest pub in the area.
