defensive, and outright rude. We were repeatedly blamed for an issue without any evidence being provided, and basic questions went unanswered. It took persistent follow-ups over a month-long period and escalation before the refund was finally processed. No apology. No accountability.

I encourage others who had similar experiences with the rude and dismissive behaviour at this agency to lodge an official complaint with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading, who oversee real estate agent conduct.

This situation could have been resolved quickly with professionalism and accountability. Sadly, that was lacking here

Appalling service! – Don't go with the rental managers. The manager is terrible, wouldn't know how to be professional if she tried. Refuses to answer phone calls. Awful experience. Licence should be revoked.

Don't risk your investment property with 'The Rental Managers' on Thuringowa Drive Townsville – My 3 x 2 property was damaged by the tenants, who were asked to vacate the property and given up to 2 months to move out by The Property Managers after I had asked them to issue the notice. 3 months later the tenants absconded from the property leaving personal processions, rubbish littered all through the property. damaged, holes in the walls, a pool unserviceable, gardens over grown. They took with them the garden watering timers and hoses. The $1000 fire alarms, installed after the change in law were pulled off the ceilings and remotes for air-conditioned and fans taken. Inside the house was left in a disgusting state and rent was in the rears. Neighbours, all 3 adjoining families had made complaints about noise, the garage being used for some sort of commercial car repairs and the police had been called out to the house about 3 times ( they speculated re-drugs). There was up to 10 people residing at the house. Yet when questioned about all of this the Rental Managers denied knowing anything thing about it. The exit property report was inaccurate not reporting damage. The bond was used to clear the rubbish left behind and change the locks and low and behold the cost of this was the same as the bond. Don't leave your investment property in their hands!

Horrible – we were ahead in rent for over 2 years, when we decided to move out, they attempted to withhold our entire bond over 2 small chips in a ancient glass cook top. We filed with the RTA to dispute, but throughout the entire process they evaded all questions, and refused to give us the make and model so we could replace. to fix any issues and would send people over un announced to do appraisals for the owner to sell, this created a sense that we would be asked to move at anytime.

If you are renting avoid these guys at all costs

Terrible service!! BEWARE!! – Don't let them manage your property! Have mismanaged from the start. Endless problems with communication to maintaining the property and have lost rent and tenants over it!!. Are taking it further with the RTA.

Never use this agency to manage your property!!! – Worst experience as agency rental managers. Tenants gave notice (law requires 30 days) agency advised me (the landlord) five days before move. Another two weeks before property was advertised on internet.
