Gives such a smooth, natural finish without feeling heavy on the skin. I love that it has a light, clean scent and not too strong or overpowering. It blends easily and keeps my face looking fresh all day. Perfect for everyday wear!
Won't buy again – I bought this as an alternative to another brand of mineral powder that had increased their prices whilst reducing the volume on more than one occasion. I had always been happy with the other product for its excellent coverage but I'm not going to be ripped off. However Thin Lizzy isn't as good. I need to apply more powder in order to obtain… Read more
the same level as cover and it doesn't give me that lovely flawless look. I use a mineral powder only when I don't want to go down the whole foundation and powder route but it is more work to get a poor result. I will either go back to the ripoff brand or back to the drawing board to try something else altogether.
Ridiculously and unnecessary excessive packaging – Shocking waste of packaging!! How can you justify this in 2023, we all know so much better now! Will not be repeat buying and will be spreading the word to friends that you deem this acceptable..

tragedy struck – I can't believe I brought Thin Lizzie home and putting ii in the bathroom cupboard, dropped it. Glass does not like tiles. Anyway I did get to use some, minus the glass. Using the sample I rescued I decided I might as well use it and I did. I found it a little heavy. It would be good for heavy blemishes but just a tad heavy for my skin. As I am… Read more
in the near death brigade and my skin very clear so I feel I would be better using lighter.
What I do love is the large brush, that is fabulous and Great for larger areas. The coverage is great and the bristles very gentle a good coverage. The little cut in sponge is handy, but I have to say I have a similar one and they are cheap to buy. I prefer using a small brush for cutting into small places.
All in all I do think that Thin Lizzy is very good for the blemishes they advertise it can disguise. No powder or very little is needed. As to colours/tones I think there is a good range. Surprisingly the one called Minx, have to admit good choice on my part.
Impressive coverage but use sparingly – I bought the mineral foundation compact in Minx for my light-medium olive undertones. This is the pink packaging, not blue (6-in-1). I was very impressed with the coverage. Normally I would require concealer for my dark undereye circles but not for this product. Reddish blemishes were also thoroughly camouflaged. A little goes a long way so don’t… Read more
overdo it but rather gradually build coverage as you go, otherwise you will get that shine that other reviewers have mentioned. I finished mine off with a setting spray and it was good for a few hours until my skin became slightly darker and shinier (most likely too much product applied on skin – I had to correct it with some mattifying powder). Best to go for one shade lighter to prevent the oxidisation look. Tried the product in winter so have yet to test in the warmer months or to see how it holds up in hotter, more humid climates overseas.
I didn’t like the brush as it wasn’t the shape I prefer for makeup application so I used one of my other kabuki brushes.
Lightweight product – I recently purchased the lightweight mineral foundation in minx and so far, love it. It's a really great foundation for a light look and doesn't feel heavy on my skin. It's a great everyday foundation and I find I don't need to layer it much, but I'm also not looking to 'cake' my face. I have redness but not much in the way of… Read more
discolouration or pimples/acne and I find that Thin Lizzy does a decent job in reducing this redness to look much more 'rosy' rather than intense and has a soft dewy look to it.
My foundation routine used to be much more excessive, with a combination of concealers, colour correctors, liquid foundation, pressed and mineral. My face would feel cakey and heavy. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing much in the way of makeup at all, which is a pleasant feeling.
I know that some have found the product unhelpful, I don't think Thin Lizzy is going to work for major issues, but I think it does a great job for a simple everyday look. If you are looking for a more matte style, or heavy coverage, I don't think this product is for you.
As I said in another review, I think it would be great if Thin Lizzy created more 'kits', like the 6-in-1 kit but you would get light or dark and then a more matched foundation/concealer (so Minx-Light, Duchess-Light) alongside a mini compact eyelash curler and some mascara. Then it would be a great go-to kit for on the road/bring into work etc.

So far the best customer service – Quick postage plus recived some freebies. Overall better online store than most these these days. Easy to order and friendly staff. Highly recommended. And prices are very affordable to.?!!! Cheers
Perfect Colour Match – Perfect colour match for me. Makes me look healthy and not cakey which is what I love about it. If I apply lightly sometimes it looks like I’m not really wearing makeup at all. It’s fast and easy to apply and lasts me all day. Has been my favourite foundation since I was a teenager! Show details
This is a great powder foundation! – I use primer before I put on the powder foundation and it works great! It gives the natural finish that I was looking for and a light to medium coverage! Cakey – Colour is ok but a bit darker would have been better , then when I applied the powder it was very cakey so it didnt give a good finish ... not happy with product Show details
Not pure ! – I bought this after seeing the add thinking it was pure mineral makeup however i was severely disappointed as it contains are -Mica,Titanium Dioxide,Magnesium Myristate,Dimethicone,Zinc oxide(Nano),triethoxycaprylylsilane,CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499. A pure mineral makeup should only contain mica, Titanium and zinc oxide along with theC1 colors I… Read more
especially dislike dimethicone which is a form of silicon which is not good for the skin and it is pore clogging This mineral makeup looks like makeup and there are real mineral makeups out there that have a way better look , coverage and only contain the pure mineral ingredients , mineral makeup doesn't need preservatives I didn't like the finish and i will stick to other real mineral makeups out there with only the real natural mineral ingredients I will be very aware when purchasing mineral makeup from now on... Not happy and I will never purchase this one again!
Love this product but a bit pricey – I use this powder over my Revlon colorstay liquid foundation for extra coverage which works wonderfully. I would love to wear it on its own but I find you need a lot of product to get the full coverage and the price just isn’t worth it. Also there is slightly too much glow to the powder and I can end up looking way too shiny as the day goes on.… Read more
You definitely need powder as well because the longevity is not that good for my oily skin. The colour Minx is perfect for my Light to Medium warm skin tone.

Happy Returning Customer – I used to use Thin Lizzy when it fist came into the market, but drifted away from it over time as I was introduced to other products. However, I have returned to using the mineral powder and find that it works wonders to cover my frekles and keep a consistsnt complexion over my whole face. Its pretty good bang for buck and lasts really well for… Read more

Discontinued and impossible to replace – I have rosacea and very fair skin. Thin Lizzy pressed powder in Enchanted Rose was the only product I could find in my colour, despite trying many other global brands, some much more expensive. Thin Lizzy has (had?) the combination of glow, coverage, skin-friendly ingredients, and right colour tone for me. The liquid foundation reintroduced in… Read more
Enchanted Rose is darker and doesn't match, and covering my entire face in full-coverage concealer is just not possible without it caking and looking like a mask. Duchess is the right colour but too dark. Miss Von Dita is too yellow. Bring Enchanted Rose pressed powder back, and take my money.
