Its great that its organic but ill be going back to my regular this doesnt build or last, which makes it 4 times more expensive in my book. Coco and eve was way better. Dry time is forever, so it streaks whenever you touch - cross legs, wash dishes… Read more
etc so easily after application. Doesn't reach the golden tan i get from coco and eve, and as soon as I swam the tan was basically gone whereas coco and eve would deepen after a shower, allowing you to build on the tan
Follow-up · Streaky, even streaks 1 to 2 days later. Application is hard to get even, no trouble with coco and eve. Even the face spray streaks.
Bad orange color on me. Spreads unevenly compared to Bondi sands. Smells like self tanner. Show details
Horrible. Very unnatural orange colour. Extremely patchy and uneven. Doesn't last. Irritated my skin. The internal seal is impossible to remove without stabbing with sharp scissors. Very dangerous. The formula has noticeably changed for the worse. It used to be an excellent product. Not anymore. Don't waste your money on this one Show details
After using many different self tanning creams . I have finally found one that is fantastic. I have the cream and the face drops , both of which are great for me . Easy to apply and works a treat ❤️ Show details
Hmmmm- not a fan of this tan ! Like many others the advertising reels you in, however I’m disappointed in the results. Also, expensive for a retired lady! Sadly back to the supermarket brand for me Show details
First-Time User Review: Three Warriors Gradual Tan I'm a first-timer to the Three Warriors brand, drawn in by the countless Sonia Kruger posts singing its praises. For context, I’m not a fan of fake tans—having tried and tested many over the years, I’ve often been left disappointed. That said, I thought I’d give this “gradual” option a go, hoping… Read more
for something more subtle and natural.
First impressions were promising. The scent is lovely on application—fresh, not overpowering. The lotion itself is white, smooth, and glides on easily, leaving the skin lightly moisturised thanks to the oil extracts. No immediate sticky residue, which was a pleasant surprise.
However, after just two applications, I noticed streaks and patchiness on my skin. Even more frustratingly, there was visible tan transfer onto my bed sheets—despite the product being marketed as a gradual tan. To me, this behaves more like a standard fake tan disguised in gradual-tan packaging.
It might work for others, but in my experience, this wasn't the clean, subtle build-up I was expecting. For a product branded as “gradual,” the results were anything but.
Smells bad, very orange on wrists, elbows, knees and feet even with tan precare and preparation. Gradual but only because you can't see it until it develops, it's a full tan product, I can't understand why it's called gradual tan. Show details
The best tanning I’ve used for years. Beautiful to apply, feels luxurious and smells divine. And gives a lovely glow. This company are my new favourite
Disappointed – I have freckled skin and found this product is no different than any other shelf bought product other than the exoborant prices I feel I wasted my money.
Great for pale complexion!! – I don't usually tan as I am so pale, it is so hard to find something that looks natural, not too orange, and also safe for my skin. Also was recommended their scrub which is so gentle on my sensitive skin. Finally can be confident in my natural looking tan!! Show details
Favourite Gradual Tan – This my favourite tan, ever! It applies like a light moisturiser, nothing too heavy and doesn't take long to dry! And because it's a moisturiser my skin feels so soft after using! LOVE IT Show details
Perfect Golden Colour – I love the gradual, I find it has a subtle lime & vanilla scent. I always get the most even colour, once I've exfoliated and prepped my skin. It gives a great golden glow after one coat and a deeper tan after 2-3 coats. My partner always comments on how soft it makes my skin.
Misleading advertising – I burn easily & freckle so hoped this line of products were genuinely going to help me look tanned. I wish I had been less gullible. Does not smell like vanilla & lime, has a fake tan smell. Gradual tan lotion smells marginally better than the mousse. The gradual tan tube had more air in it than product once I removed the foil seal.… Read more
Disappointing. The tanning mousse does not go dark like on the advertisement with Sonia Kruger. I followed instructions to the letter. Left on for 6 hours then a quick warm rinse afterwards & I had a light-medium colour with white stripes at inner elbow. Face tan mist is very tacky & takes ages to dry. Not impressed with any product. I bought these items at the Black Friday sale & fortunately didn’t pay full price.
Addit: I wrote on their Facebook page about the smell & air content in the tube & they blocked me. Seems they cannot cope with criticism.

Another bunch of cheap lies in a bottle – I am so disappointed that I believed the marketing that it didn't stink. It is awful. Four days in and I'm gagging at the scent on my body like some vile yeast infection smell. I have orange patches on my thicker skin and because it's transparent when you apply you can't tell exactly where you put it on your body so hard to manage an even coat. In the bin it goes along with my faith in influencer's like Sonia Kruger. Show details
The hype is false – There was so much hype on this tan. And some - who I thought were trustworthy - celebs recommending it so I decided to try. It is advertised as not having any orange tones, complete lie, I am extremely orange, that it fades evening, another lie as it fades like other tans but worse and has a 'cracking' effect as it fades. It also said it doesn't… Read more
dry the skin, another lie. It does. Albeit a slight improvement from other tans, but still a lie. It went on ok but has really grabbed on my feet and wrists even though I was careful. I exfoliated well beforehand and have been since as well as moisturising but yeah nothing has helped it. Hands down the worst tan, worst colour, worst application, worst fade! I have NEVER written a review about anything. That's how disappointed I am to be deceived by this product and [Name Removed] recommendation of it. Oh also when it came, the mousse had leaked in the box and fake tan was all over it. The one thing I did like was the smell. It does smell much better than other tans.
awful fake tan – Nothing prepared me for the horrible fake tan smell that comes as it dries. Like worse fake tan smell ever. And it is not gradual , it should be classed a fake tan that smells bad. I am orange and most expensive fail of a product that i though and was told would be gradual . Crying. Show details
Terrible- scammers – Never received my order. Emailed and called them and no response. Not sure why Sonia Kruger is affiliated with a company that has no customer service. Show details
Nothing special – I wanted to share my thoughts on the Three Warriors self-tan, as I know it’s been getting a lot of hype lately. Honestly, I was quite disappointed. They claim it dries instantly, but that wasn’t my experience at all—it’s definitely sticky. In comparison, I’ve been using Coco & Eve, and it actually dries instantly with no stickiness whatsoever.… Read more
It’s a far better option in my opinion. The colour of Three Warriors is okay, but nothing groundbreaking. There are so many other self-tans out there that deliver just as good (or better) results without the stickiness—and for a similar price or less. As for ‘it smells divine’, that person must have been smelling something else!! For me, it just doesn’t live up to the hype or justify the cost.
Too good to be true! – If something sounds too good to be true, beware. I was disappointed with the result of the Three Warriors Gradual Tan, it accentuated freckles and marks on my skin that I didn't know was there. It has an unusual smell, not as overpowering as some brands, but still needs to be washed off before leaving your house. I found the colour to have an… Read more
orange tinge, so avoid ankles, elbows etc or it turns really ugly. Yes it absorbs quickly, and is pleasant to apply, full stop. This product does not deliver the results you would expect from the presentation.
i nearly gave up on it – the first time i brought it i found it to green and an offputting smell, but after using it with the body scrub, it looks much better now. i really like the ingredients list. Show details
The best euro tan – I love this tan. It’s hands down the best fake tan on the market. It has the best colour. You look like you have been on a European holiday. Easy to apply I put it on and go to bed and it doesn’t stain anything. It has a pleasant smell unlike other brands. Show details
Product not what it says – I purchased online Three Warriors Gradual Tan, as you can only purchase online. I couldn't find anything but positive 5 star reviews about any of their products. This product is not gradual in tanning, it is like a fake tan. It is not what I wanted and purchased, and you can't get a refund, you can only get a credit note. I don't feel confident… Read more
with their products now that I would want to purchase through them again. I have emailed them and tried to contact them via Instagram, but no reply. I left a 1-star review on their website, and it hasn't been posted by them. I feel they are not being an honest company in what they are selling to the consumer, and it appears you can't do anything about it. There is also NO reviews on google other than their own website reviews which are all positive. I would never have purchased this product if I knew it was the same as a fake tan. Not happy with their product and style of advertising.
