Know your rights. Under Australian law, fair wear and tear is admissible for rental properties, but they will try to make it a bigger issue than it is. I have photos, and I’m prepared to take legal action if needed. They won’t take it that far because they know the law is not on their side. They rely on people like us, assuming we can’t afford legal help, but you don’t need a lawyer. Even if they take you to court, there will be negotiations, and their photos will hold no weight unless you agree to the charges.

Never agree to pay for anything without fully understanding your rights. They have a long list of bad reviews and a terrible reputation. If you need help, feel free to reach out or contact consumer protection before responding to them. This company lacks integrity, and none of their employees stay long due to their unethical practices.

Scammers – Our first rental as 18 year olds, had a pipe leak and damage some shelving in our ensuite. decent landlords I’m appalled at how we were treated. Honestly don’t know how real estate agents operating like this can look themselves in the mirror. Disgraceful avoid at all costs.

You would actually contemplate death than rather deal with these people – Have been a resident of TCS managed property for over 12 months. Had no issues until Cindy took over property management. She swears at people on the phone and tries to intimidate people into backing down. Property with broken windows, plumbing, floors and pest infestation. She does not feel this is a property manger problem. Poor service, refuses to pick up the phone. If I could give zero stars I would.

premises in late October last year and has not been replaced. From 1 July, 2019 all rental properties were required to have ceiling insulation that meets standard regulations. I asked repeatedly for the insulation to be re-installed as this house is an old fibro and gets extremely hot in the summer. Be warned: Your power bills will be very high (around $400-500 bi-monthly) even if insulation is installed after I leave as you will need to use the bottom of the range and power hungry air-conditioner at 16 celcius to stay cool. After 10 weeks of waiting for Time Conti Sheffield to meet their legal obligations I finally issued them a Breach Notice on 11th January 2022.

Time Conti Sheffields response to this was to issue a Notice of Termination on 13th January 2022. This property is likely to be up for rental sometime after March 2022. If you decide to rent a property in Willagee offered by Time Conti Sheffield after that time, please obtain confirmation, in writing, that the premises has ceiling insulation.

This area is also renowned for ant infestations beginning in December/January of each year and the owner is required under s42 of the Residential Tenancies Act to undertake pest control for these ants. Once again, obtain in writing Time Conti Sheffields assurance that they will undertake this pest control annually or you will not be able to use the kitchen without cleaning up large trails of ants on all benches, the stove, and around the sink before you can prep food and get used to them in and around the bathroom sink and dropping from the ceiling into your beds if this pest control is not done.

The owners have taken responsibility for this pest control since I began the tenancy but refused to do so this year.

There are at least 2 large nests of mice under plants in the front garden, one under the bird of paradise and another under the Xanthorrea near the side gate which will migrate into the house on a regular basis as the house is in no way sealed (check out the crack in the floor of one of the back bedrooms and the gaps in external walls and on that note, don't water plants on the front porch or water will leak into the main bedroom). Because I have a cat I took care of those myself but responsibility for their control also falls under the same regulation as above.

In addition, the entire roof is in such disrepair and has needed to be replaced since I commenced this tenancy so be aware that on a regular basis animals get in and die resulting in 10 days of stench and flies. The flyscreens are so aged I'm frightened to remove them to clean and most have large holes so get used to mozzies in the house. These issues are just the tip of the iceberg.

The General Manager also breached my privacy on the google review.

Based on past behaviour, I'm guessing my next problem with Time Conti Sheffield will be getting my bond back.

My experience with this company has been appalling and I do not recommend them at all. IMO, run away, fast and in the opposite direction.

Look elsewhere – From my own personal dealings, I’ve never dealt with such an unprofessional real estate company. During the duration of a 12 month lease I had 4 property managers. inspection. I’ve had to change professional cleaners around to suit them, as having the apartment cleaned one week prior to handing over the keys isn’t good enough. When asking if the day I had changed the cleaners to come was to their satisfaction (was genuinely asking as they were having perspective tenants come through while it’s still being leased), I was told I must have ‘misunderstood’ and am therefore ‘upset’. Of course because I am woman I must be upset! All this was conveyed over text as well, which is also unprofessional. When asking to speak to someone else and provide feedback in regards to being told I have ‘misunderstood’ and am ‘upset’, I received no apology for being spoken to in such an unprofessional manner, being told I must have ‘misunderstood as things gets misconstrued over text’. Maybe don’t text then? I’m guessing I’ll lose my bond by simply reviewing the company because I’m young they can walk all over me. I wish I’d done my research prior to signing a lease with this company.

Renting – Quite possibly the worse property management I’ve ever dealt with, strongly advise not to rent a property managed by this company. Lack of care, inaccuracy and clearly not looking fussed about best interest of remnants or owners

WARNING UNETHICAL REAL ESTATE!!! – Do not trust these guys they will screw you over!! All they care about is taking you for a ride as far as they can. They do not care whether you have done the right thing or not they just want money and they don't care how many lies they have to tell to get it!

the agreement. When we said that firstly we want to see the contract, the answer was that their policy is to take the money and then show conditions of an agreement.

However, that was just the beginning of the problem. After signing the agreement, the company had 9 days to clean property for us. But when we moved in the property was extremely dirty. There were thick layers of dust, cobwebs, rubbish and dead insect behind furniture, and what was the worst, cockroaches everywhere. Not only alive ones but dead ones as well. Moreover, cupboards in the kitchen and the fridge contained roach eggs and dirts. Agency´s first answer was that we brought pest in our luggage. Hence, we decided to move out and find a temporary living.

After informing about the situation a chemical treatment and cleaning were done but, apparently, this was not very efficient because the pest issue persisted. Me and my girlfriend inspected the property several times with hope that the problem has been sorted out but even after 3 and half weeks after moving in, there were the same dirty spots like at our arrival.

Hence, 18 days after supposed moving in, we invited [name removed] - Senior Residential Property Management to see the property. She had entered the property 5 mins before us without our permission together with a cleaner. When we came she said that there are no cockroaches. When we showed her roach eggs and dirts, she with an arrogant face answered that that is not a problem, that everything is clean. Even eggs laid on the bottom of the fridge is not a problem. Then we informed her know that we applied to the court because they failed to provide us clean property according to residential tenancy act. Her answer was that we have been ridiculous. Fortunately, they released us from the contract but arrogance continued.

The Worst Real Estate Agent I have Seen Ever – Being a tenant at various properties around Perth, finally I met this real estate agent, the worst one I have ever dealt with.
