Rubbish product not recommended
Power head broke after 1 year. Cost 150 for a new one. Going to bin it
Show detailsBattery replacement cost a total rip.
Average machine, blocks very easily. Far better on the market at far lower cost (try Ryobi) And the price they want for replacement batteries is an absolute rip. Sorry, Godfrey’s these were overpriced and unreliable - won’t trust you again.

I let a family member convince me to buy a Tineco after having had dysons for years. Worst decision ever. Have had it now for about 10 months and have had nothing but issues. It’s cheap, flimsy copycat technology. Tiny dust barrel, batteries that don’t last long, and the emptying mechanism is ridiculous as there’s no way to empty the barrel without the dirt going absolutely everywhere. Not to mention it’s overly sensitive and simply doesn’t clean as well as the Dyson or the Miele. Don’t waste your money.

Went to buy Dyson and Godfrey sales person showed this and advised its better value for money. Within 2 years of using showed dust sensor problem 3 times, which require to be sent away and fixed. Its just rubbish. Godfreys sales people are ripping off customer bu advising wrong product, Which i am sure they know about the issues with this vaccum.

Totally disappointed in the product
Totally agree with all the other reviews about how ineffective this vacuum cleaner is after buying it 2 and a half years ago. It was fine for few months then stopped working. Took it back under warranty but we were without it for a month. We find it didn’t pick up even the smaller particles on our tile floors, just pushes it around then drops it all out when you stop it. It is the messiest and hardest vacuum I’ve ever had to clean too.
For the price we are soo soo disappointed and feel totally ripped off by the Godfrey’s sales person.
Absolute rubbish and a RIP OFF
Bought in 2021 for $1100 from Godfrey's. Salesman swore it was best ever. Originally went in for a Dyson stick Vac, (but they didnt sell them) ..he said Tineco was much better, and did the sand on a piece of carpet suction test. All seemed great.
Get it home, worked good for a few weeks, then suction started to fail. Then it just stopped working. Took it back and they sent away to be fixed. Apparently a motor burn out. (Not my fault). Replaced free of charge. NEW one arrives, ok for first week, then suction starts to fail again. Cleaned the fi
Terrible!
What a disappointment. I have had this machine for about 2 years. I use it on hard floors and carpet. It worked great for the first few months, but has gradually become un-usable. First, it began to lose suction. I clean the filter in the filter cleaner each time before use. I only use it once a week. The little wheels on the main vacuum head have worn out, we replaced them with wheels from Dyson. The button on the main head that connects it onto the stick has fallen off, so I can't use it and finally, due to inferiorior materials entire barrel has broken after falling once onto the floor.

This is amazing, used on slate tiles, wood flooring and rugs, light weight, can clean your house in one go without recharging-I cannot believe I have gone so long without one of these in my home :-)

I bought the Tineco s12 approximately 2 years and 3 months ago, along with the additional service and care plan from my local Godfrey’s. It’s been okay, but definitely not as good when we first bought it. We’ve had it regularly serviced - 3 times in those 2 years of owning it and have followed the recommending cleaning guide after each use, not a flex, we literally had to for it suction and work the best, and we only use it 3-4 times a week. Last week, it simply stopped working. Battery was fine, however no noise or suctioning. Took it to our l
... Read moreocal Godfrey’s to be told that it’s 3 months out of warranty and that it would need to be sent away to be looked at and fix at the expense of us. Just 3 months out of warranty, ironic. Got a call today to be told that our $1200 vacuum cleaners motor has blown up, despite having it regularly serviced, filter cleaned after each use as per the company recommendations and bare in mind, we only use it 3-4 times a week. We’ve now been quoted $350 for the motor to be replaced with no explanation on why this issue has occurred. Can we expect that in another 2 more years this issue happens again? I’ve also emailed the company and have heard nothing back. Should have bought a Dyson.Find out how Tineco Pure One S12 Platinum compares to other Stick & Cordless Vacuum Cleaners

Poor suction and cheap quality
Purchased from Godfrey's and agree with the other reviews. On tiles it works OK, as long as you are pushing it forward. Omcapable of sucking anything up if you pull the machine backwards. Will spit out dirt when turned off. We have dogs and the vacuum is useless on the carpet. I have to use my 13 yr old dyson to do my carpets instead. The materials are cheap. All of the connection pieces area cheap plastic and have broken. One of the small wheels on vacuum head is broken and this is only after a year. In comparison I have never had this issue with previous vacuum. Save your money and do not buy
Show detailsTerrible waste of money - does not work!!!
It cost $1000 and I was sold the dream but now I am about the throw it in the bin as like everyone else says, it doesn't pick up much on bare floors and drops everything off as soon as you turn it off. I hate it and I am so disappointed especially as it is soo expensive. DO NOT BUY!!!
Also pretty frustrated as this is the 2nd time I use Godfreys (first time I bought a Hoover which was as useless and I spent my time returning and servicing it) in 2 different stores and both times I got sold an absolute dud!! I will never use Godfreys ever again and will tell everyone not to!!
Not impressed at all with this vacuum
The hard floor head is useless and only pushes the dirt around so I use the carpet head which is pretty good on carpet but can't even pick up biscuit crumbs of the hard floor.
Also when you have finished and turn the vacuum off it spits out a bit of what you have sucked up back on the floor. A friend bought a stick vacuum from Kmart and I gave it a run. It does a way better job for $99.00.
Also I have had the hard floor head replaced under warranty.

Worst vacuum ever
Do not buy this vacuum. It’s absolutely useless. I’m going back to an old fashioned vacuum with a bag that I’ll drag around behind me over this piece is plastic crap.
Show detailsAbsolutely do not buy this
Purchased from godfreys for 1000, had to have it repaired (under warranty)after around 12 months. however now have the same problem ,two months out of warranty and got a quote to repair the unit, just as expensive to replace the unit. Honestly buy a cheap vacume that does the same thing at a fraction of the cost. These vacumes are most certainly not built to last and are massively over priced.
Show detailsWorst money ever spent!!
This is NOT a premium vacuum at all, they use cheap materials to make this machine and certainly is not worth the money they charge. It is by far the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. My vacuum died only a few months after warranty ran out and the told me the motor needs replacing and a new head and it will cost close to $500 dollars to fix.

After using the Tineco, has anyone had experience with a pile of dust being left on the floor when you turn it off and pick it up? I love everything else about it: the fact that it has excellent suction, it's lightweight, batteries are great, easy to empty, filter easy to clean etc etc. However after every use a considerable pile of sand and dust seems to fall out of the machine when it is lifted to go back into the cupboard. Any tips? Thanks.
Hello! Once the battery is fully charged should I turn the power off at the switch or do I just leave it on?
