I love this fruit bread. Ceoliacs and those on a gluten free diet have been starved of this luxury. The addition of thicker slices makes it truly competitive with non gluten free. The only reason it didn’t get five stars the fruit was a bit sparse. Show details

I am providing a 1 Star rating for Tip Top Raisin toast in WA. The NSW raisin toast gets a 5 Star as that is what it should taste like, light and fluffy and simply a joy to eat. The product we get in Perth WA is a pale imitation of the real thing. I’m not sure what you do to it during transport or if you use a different recipe for WA but the… Read more

raisin toast is dry and hard and I can only say it is STALE. Doesn’t matter if I buy from Coles or Woolies it’s the same result. Also the size of the toast slices in WA are smaller as though you don’t use any yeast or something. After tasting the real deal in NSW I won’t be purchasing Tip Top raisin toast in WA anymore.

Raisin loaf...really, is that what you call it? – Tip Top raisin loaf...really, is that what you call it? It looks more like Russian field rations than raisin loaf. Lift your game Tip Top, that's pathetic. Show details

Tip Top changed there recipe for Raisin Toast – We just ate some Tip Top Raisin Toast and they have changed it dramatically. The texture is more drier/stale and has not got the same flavour. I thought that it tasted the same as Coles Raisin Toast, which is a lot cheaper. Maybe buy Coles Raisin Toast next time. Show details

Borderline stale – Lately , I've noticed it's not as fresh ...as it should be! Last few loafs have felt stale. Don't know if it's the supermarket ( Woolworths - Warilla) - I'm purchasing from or Tip Top. Will try another supermarket , if same , will unfortunately have to try other brands. Show details

Tip Top Raisin Toast , the last 5 loaves have been STALE as – For the last 6 weeks, Tip top raisin toast , is Stale as, even though, the use buy dates has up to 5 days left. Each slice is like someone left it out todry. The texture is horrible also. I rang the girl, and she told me, it wasn't possible, that it wasn't fresh. Well I am telling everyone, it has been STALE AS. Show details

Cut thicker now hard to fit in toaster – They have recently started cutting it thicker and it hardly fits in my toaster. I don't see a difference between the normal one and cafe style. I don't want my toast that thick so won't buy this again

What happened to the raisins – Lately the bread has seemed that raisins are in short supply. Not as nice as previous loaves. Will go back to Aldi version for a while to see if tip top picks up.

It's shrunk – These loads are now so small they dissappear in the toaster and have be dug out with a knife. This is very dangerous and can easily cause electric shock and could kill.. Not happy so changing brands until they rerurn to normal size.

Nothing special – I tried the Tip Top Cafe Brioche Style with Fruit toast. Just a big shoulder shrug, could not tell the difference at all between the supposed 'brioche' and normal bread.Only plus side, it did'nt seem to burn within ten seconds of putting in the toaster like other Tip Top fruit bread does, would not waste money buying it again though

Where is the original receipe? – Been having raisin toast from tip top for years before after switching to healthier wholemeal bread. Recently bought tip top raisin toast for a change and realize the texture is different as I used to have. It's lost that original taste I used to enjoy. Cost cutting measure? I rather buy from Bakers delight now which still serve the great raisin toast with that original flavor. Price wise, its about similar.

Excellent – We like to have Tip Tops fruit loaf for breakfast and overall I can say that they are on a winner here and should never change the indgredients as the flavour is perfect. Tip Top have the only fruit breads that I will eat as I belive theirs is full of more fruit and is the most tastiest I have eaten. Other than I would prefer to see a normal Loaf… Read more

of bread size insted of it being abount three quarters the size of a loaf of bread. I have nothing bad to say about the quality of the bread itself.

Good – This is my first choice for raisin toast, it toasts perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I sometimes have a slice in the afternoon if I am feeling hungry. I like the yummy sweet taste of this bread which is just the right size, it doesnt have the orange peels or tangyness of other fruit loaves, so this is my first choice. This is… Read more

my favourite brand of fruit bread because its sweet and not tangy. It is soft and can be eated just out of the bag too. It is expensive, but often comes on sale, but sometimes get sold out when on sale.

Excellent – I love this fruit bread as a special treat on the week-end. It is especially tasty when it is toasted with just a thin spread of butter on it. It is more costly than plain bread but it is worth the extra cost. Smells and tastes great when it is toasted. Cost
