Expensive, Ineffective, Inefficient and only their Accounts Receivable Department is professional! – Late in 2023 a Partner at TLFC reached out seeking new mandates. progress and wrote an appropriately negative Google review noting "The Accounts Receivable Department are the only efficient operation at TLFC". After receiving apologetic overtures from two of the three partners we agreed to give TLFC a second chance. We shouldn't have bothered! In the last four months our original reservations and frustrations have been proven absolutely correct! All three mandates have now been moved to new lawyers who share a scathing assessment of TLFC's professionalism, tardy and opaque work and excessive billing for negligible progress.

Zealous but ultimately misguided law firm principal – I have had only second hand (highly unconventional) interaction with Tisher Liner FC Law. Michael Fetter (one of the principals) is very adapt at composing cease and desist letters regarding defamation and injurious falsehood for his client (Miles Real Estate). I just find it very curious that a property lawyer (feel free to correct me if I am wrong) is foraying into defamation work. Anyways, I admire his zealous commitment to his client.

Infuriatingly Awful – My solicitor left the firm in the middle of dealing with my file and nobody let me know. Upon enquiry I was dismissed with still no explanation. There was a 10 day turn around time with any brief responses that I did receive. Once I received an email however, with somebody else's payment agreement attached, that was clearly meant to be in-house.… Read more

All this man's personal details were on the document. Followed up with simply "disregard". I am just learning that the other solicitor working on the file contacted them several times to check on progression and received no responses. Once I expressed my intention to use another solicitor, I was sent an itemised and full-priced invoice - one item was simply entitled "email", with no other details. Wonderful. I contested the amount, there was a bit of back and forth (always around ten days for them to get back to me) and once we agreed on an amount, payment was required "straight away" for the release of my file. The documentation for which they made my new solicitor have me sign. All in all, terrible service, inefficient, not communicative, throw in a breach of privacy and they are happy to try take full payment for all of that. A waste of my time and certainly a waste of money. I expressed my frustration regarding this when I disputed the invoice and received no apology or explanation still. Horrible experience.

Hopeless and contemptible – Engaged TLFCL to sort out what should have been a simple owners corporation dispute. Completely stuffed it up losing me my home to Westpac and charged me triple for the privilege. Hopeless at law, extremely aggressive over their undeserved fees. A law firm with no credibility – I have been with this law firm for many years, and they have quite simply ripped the soul out of me and my family. Stay away from this law firm of dishonest and corrupt lawyers.
