Purchased in at Woolworths for $70.
Beneficial, practical and comforting for everyone – Purchased for Mum while she underwent chemotherapy during Melbourne winter of ‘22. It’s still being used by the family now in its third Winter of use. Laundered once on hand wash cycle and our elderly pooch uses it on the lowest setting as she has arthritis. It soothes her to sleep reducing the need for regular strong pain relievers which cause liver disease in dogs. Worth the $70 I paid on sale. Very useful blanket for a range of practical applications.
Inconsistent/Poor Quality, Overpriced compared to very similar goods in a different brand – I purchased 1 of these in Grey in 2022 and it worked perfectly so I got a blue one also which was a bit finnicky. Sometimes It would heat well, sometimes not. Unfortunately it suddenly died this winter just in warranty and Woolworths kindly swapped it out. The new one was unopened but there was a tear in the plastic bag and when we plugged it in only part of it heated so it got swapped out again, this time for a Grey one. The final replacement heated evenly but it wasn't very hot & after 2 weeks it was barely heating except for the part closest to the controller. We tried it with multiple power points with no extension lead and disconnected and reconnected the controller hoping for a miracle but no. This time Woolworths told us to ring the manufacturer John Cotton who told me they don't warranty the whole blanket, they would only replace the controller. At this point I am done wasting time so I purchased a replacement with the exact same controller in a home brand for 40% less. We did our best to handle it gently and it was always laid out flat when turned on. This was a very disappointing experience for an item that was in the higher price bracket in this category
Purchased in at Woolworths Physical store for $70.
Not worth it – Stopped working within a week. Exactly the same as the cheap Kmart one, not worth it.

Not warm enough. Failed after a month. Overpriced – 9 heat settings. Just not warm enough even at level 9. Stopped working after a month. $70 from woolworths. Junk product. Do not purchase - get the cheap and cheerful option from kmart.
