A very professional, friendly, courteous & helpful team. An excellent result.
Chuck and his team transformed an apartment that hadn’t been painted in 40 years. Chuck returned on a Saturday to paint the gap between the old and new carpet. Attention to detail is impeccable.
We recently engaged Tony Isgrove Paint and Decorate to repair and paint the timber windows in our apartment block in Chester Street Epping. This was the second time we had used Tony Isgrove Paint and Decorate for painting in our block. We chose to retain the original timber windows to keep the block in original condition. provided totally professional and friendly service, resulting in an excellent result. Evan also organised replacement glass in some windows and repairs of damaged timber in some areas. The block was left clean and tidy every day, a testament to the care Evan and his team provided. During this work, we had a couple of issues (not related to the painting) that required urgent plumbing repairs to take place. Evan and his team enabled this work to take place along side the painting so that these issues could be resolved promptly. Thank you Evan and your team for a truly great result.
Evan and his team were true professionals. Always punctual and hardworking. The finished paint job was excellent with great attention to detail.
CHELSEA GARDENS, Dural. Thanks for a great paint job & bravo to Teresa Desouza, team leader of the painting crew under her direction at the Chelsea Gardens complex of villas & apartment buildings, club house & swimming pool building, requiring various scaffolding arrangements. Teresa did a fabulous job handling both residents & team with skill,… Read more
grace & efficiency. Thanks also to Jung & Frank who handled my beloved trailing Mandevilla vines in full flower, as if they were their own. Sorry to break the rules, but I have to award Teresa 11 out of 10.. She earned it! Roslyn.( resident)

Full refresh inside and out of our fibro cottage giving it a new lease of life! Amazing job done by Tony’s team and exceeded my expectations of how different our home would look after the job was finished. The team were very accomodating and professional, and estimates of completion time for inside and out were kept. Very happy also with how … Read more

Best painters ever, if you don’t use them you are missing out. Professional, friendly, they clean up after the end of every day and vacuum. Communication is so good it took me by surprise as in the past it lacked at it showed in the painting. They took all screens off washed and replaced them. They were very careful and helpful if you needed help… Read more · 2

Strongly recommend – Just painted our house. Team of Dalibov, Sam and Lily were the best painters we ever had. Attention to details was outstanding. Very polite and friendly people, nothing was a problem. It was a pleasure dealing with them. Very happy with the result. Strongly recommend. Phillip, Dover Heights
Steve B from Tony Isgrove's Paint and Decorate – Steve B. has carried out a painting job for us and I'd just like to say he is a complete professional and is dependable, responsible and courteous. He accomplished his work with efficiency and gave great attention to detail. Everything was neat and clean. We are very happy with Steve's B's paint job and would gladly recommend him to others.
Happy home owners – The team was very professional, friendly and accommodating. All care was taken in preparation and painting including second floor area. The finish is excellent and everyone is happy.
Satisfied Experience – We are very happy with our buildings painting outcome. Perfect work ethic, cooperative and professional painters led by Qurban. Absolutely nothing that we can fault with their work/results. Very good communication with the planning of the job as well as on a daily basis while doing the work. Terry Towell.
A job well done by Reuben – This morning Reuben came and painted a wall in my back yard which was long over due. He did a good job and I was very happy with it.

RECOMMENDED – We recently had the exterior of our 2 story house painted, also the garage interior. You can believe all the positive reviews here and on google because from our initial inquiry through quoting to completion, everything was handled professionally, promptly and in detail. The surfaces were thoroughly prepared, then Chuck and his team on the job powered through, politely, punctually, neatly and quietly - what more can one ask for??
Went the extra mile for a great finish – A new fire door in the common area of our strata building need to be painted to match the hallway colour and colour on the lift door. Over the years, there were some chips and marks on hallway wall and so the team from Tony Isgrove’s repainted the entire wall to make everything look fresh and new — that was a pleasant surprise! I would certainly… Read more
ask Tony Isgrov’s for a quote when the other common hallways in the building are scheduled for painting. Many thanks to Ruben and his colleague.
Best Paint company – Painters did an excellent job. Were Professional , friendly and courteous, helpful about moving and replacing furniture and curtains, came on time . Highly recommended.
A pleasing result – Our residential strata block engaged Tony Isgrove Paint & Decorate (TIP&D) to freshen up the external paintwork around our block - primarily cantilevered balconies, but also other concreted areas that had been painted before and external doors at ground level. It had been around 20 years since the previous paint job. Tony is easy to deal with,… Read more
professional, courteous, responsive and has been in the industry for almost 40 years. His quote and accompanying company background information was very slick and ultra professional and while it was more than the other companies we sought a quote from, it stood out by a country mile as the being the most thorough, including things we hadn't necessarily thought of, such as whether the painters are direct company employees or contractors.
The team of TIP&D painters assigned to our job was courteous, punctual and professional, and there was no smoking or loud swearing during their time on the job, as can sometimes happen with other tradies. They always cleaned up after themselves and did not leave drip spots or splashes of paint. They completed the work as quoted, including preparation, priming of any exposed metal, rust treatment, render repairs (done by a trained renderer), and two coats of weather shield paint. The optional external window hose and wipe down by a window guy with a long reach hose and wiper was a great inclusion, as the outside of many of our block’s windows had not been cleaned on the outside for a couple of decades at least, if ever.
A combination of scissor lift and scaffolding was used for our block, due to its height and varying access to some areas. Tony's painting team also cleaned the external (pale coloured) brickwork, which helped to remove dirt and dust, lichen, mold and some of the weather staining of the past 50 years, although customers should note it may not always be possible to remove stubborn staining that has impregnated the bricks.
Some tips I'd like to recommend to anyone engaging a painter, and which we admittedly should have done, include obtaining from the painter their proposed schedule of work in detail, such as what side of the building they will tackle first, whether they’ll be working Monday to Friday vs Monday to Saturday, when scaffolding will be erected and removed, and how many days or weeks the job will take (taking into account any wet weather). This can then be shared with residents. It saves a bit of back and forth and any misunderstandings during the course of the job. For example, if the wooden frames of lock up garages need to be painted, and residents need to ensure their garage doors are unlocked on the day this work is to occur, it needs to be clearly communicated a few days in advance to all the affected residents. I’d also recommend drilling down to the real nitty-gritty specifics of the job in writing before you formally engage the painting company - this includes things such as exactly which sections and surfaces of a cantilevered balcony are to be painted as part of the job, and what sections or parts may be left to an individual lot owner to pay for, should they wish to have this done while the painting team is on site, so there is nothing left to guesswork or assumptions.
Another tip I'd like to convey is to establish upfront who the painting team lead will be for the job, so that you can speak direct to that person in the event of any issues arising. It's this person who will be your go-to on a day-to-day basis, so it's important for that relationship of trust to be solid, regardless of how much trust you have put in the company owner. I'd even recommend asking the team lead to show you a test patch of painting using the agreed colour first, in case there has been any mix up with the colour agreed as part of the job, and the colour actually delivered to the painters on site.
All in all, we were pleased with the finished job and would be happy to engage TIP&D again should the need arise.
